DLL Injection -> segfaults on wine
Hi, I've started today programming with a windows library which I especially want to use in Wine. This library replaces one that is for windows native program and I'm trying to create a similar library that communicates with a native linux replacement of the program for windows. This library needs to be injected into some special processes like the windows one did (it's an SDK,

R-4.3 version list.files function could not work correctly in chinese
Yes, I participated in the discussion. Basically dir() failed to list all files since R 4.3.0 when filenames start with Chinese characters. I don't have a Windows machine to test it, but this might be a minimal reproducible example: file.create("????.R") dir() The OP said dir() would return "????.R" in R.4.2.2 but not in R 4.3.0. Flash Movie Player Control in VB
Hi all, I just started messing with wine (0.9.54 on Ubuntu 7.04-Feisty) a few weeks ago and there's some educational software I want to be able to run. It was made with VB, and I've managed to get it working fairly well except for an ActiveX control for showing Flash movies (.swf). I think it's unable to load the swf file because the box where the movie should show is blank, and

R-4.3 version list.files function could not work correctly in chinese
Dear Yihui, Thanks a lot for your help! Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this. I've tried creating files with Chinese characters in their names and populating them with valid UTF-8 and valid non-UTF-8 text, but R seems to be able to list them all in my case. I'm running a US English evaluation ISO image of a slightly newer build of Windows 10, and I also compiled R-4.3.1 from

Win32 programs can't find files on FAT32 partitions
I'm having trouble with opening files on fat32 partitions with programs running under wine. The programs report that they can't find the file, even though it exists. I can open files on reiser and iso9660 partitions successfully. The simplest program I could find that exhibits this problem is notepad. If I provide the filename on the command line, notepad.exe tells me it can't find
