The software UPSmart 1.5 is the same as I am using in this thread: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2016-November/007248.html (starts in 2016-August) for the powercool 1500VA USB UPS. Have not yet been successful with getting it working with NUT but the symptoms are the same and you may find some of the debug useful from https://github.com/mattwire/powercool-ups If it helps, I

Hello, I'm trying to get an energenie EG-UPS-033 (http://energenie.com/item.aspx?id=8087) to work with nut. It standard comes with linux software (UPSmart), which shows the input/output voltage, load level, input frequency. and battery and case temperature. The values change about every second. The selected monitor mode in this tool is Mega(USB). The bad thing of this tool that it

Which version (and how old) is UPSmart? This just came up in a

[LLVMdev] Reversing a function's CFG?
This is in reply to the posting below. I am not a compiler writer type, so I am probably in over my head a bit. Several years ago I was a bit interested in something called code slicers. An example of one (probably no longer supported) is UNRAVEL (http://www.itl.nist.gov/div897/sqg/unravel/unravel.html ) Their basic idea is to identify the algorithm which serves to determine the value of

Samba + e2compr = problems?
Hello, everybody. Casually I've got the chanceto reproduce at my workstation the problem that prevented us to change from Novell 4.11 to Samba on RH6.0. AFAIK, the problem is loosely related to the one described in these lists where one get a bunch of smbd daemons running, while certain files remain locked and can be only unlocked by means of a reboot of the system. I could verify details

how to do java-like hashtables in R, R from a java progra mmer's p onit of view
It sounds like we are kindred spirits. I am using an old PC, with linux installed, running tcpdump as my packet sniffer. I will experiment with data frames as you suggest to get the hang of R some more before worrying about hashtables again. Chris Marshall -----Original Message----- From: M. Newer APC Back-UPS spurious events
Hi, [ There is also a github issue about this here: https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/2347 ] I have an APC Back-UPS BX1600MI purchased in January, attached by its supplied USB cable to a Debian 10 machine. Initially using the nut packaged in Debian 10 (2.7.4-8) this was unusable as the usbhid-ups driver kept disconnecting every few seconds. I upgraded to the git HEAD of nut and

Shout: "couldn't connect"
I am running Icecast 1.3.12-debian, with libshout 2.0 and Shout 2.0.1. When I run example.pl in the Shout build directory directory, I get the error "couldn't connect..." I'm not sure where to look to unravel this error. Icecast is working fine and streaming static files smoothly.

New C7960 won't tftp?
Just received a new Cisco 7960 (not refurb, but brand new) and it won't tftp the initial config file (OS79XX.TXT) from an FC3 box. The 7960 does get an appropriate dhcp response including the tftp address. Using a sniffer, I see the tftp request being sent from the 7960 to the FC3 box, but the FC3 box responds with error code 4 (Illegal TFTP opertion) and an error message of "Request not

rsync --delete-existing needed
Hi, I made the mistake of doing an rsync of a directory into the wrong destination, so that the destination became a mix of two directories of unrelated files. Top unravel the mess, I could need something like a --delete-existing option. The semantics would be to delete at the destination ONLY those files that exists at the source. I tried to concoct a combination of options that would do

Win98 not transmitting passwd to samba server
Hello I cannot get my Windows98 machines to connect to my Samba server(2.2.4) shares. It appears that my Win machines are not transmitting the password. The Samba server looks OK. On the server machine, "smbclient -L <server> -U user1" prompts me for a passwd, then, after authentication, displays the shares. When I attempt to map a share from my Win machines, the samba log file
