RE: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 8, Issue 152
I understand Asterisk is more like a B2BUA. But when this INFO request is sent to asterisk, asterisk is supposed to bridge the request to the other endpoint, right? In what situation, it decides to send a reply; in what situation, it decides to bridge the request? What is the role of gateway in SIP world, a proxy, a B2BUA or something else? Re: asterisk-users Digest, Vol 32, Issue 67
Hi, What version of asterisk and zaptel are you using? I've used digium TE110P card with mfcr2. I had same "T1 timed out" problem too. I've asked from support and got answer to install latest zaptel. I've installed zaptel 1.2.13 and it solved. In short try latest asterisk v1.2.x packages with unicall. >> Hi List, >> I'm trying to connect Asterisk with a

Fast clock under VMWare
Hi everyone, I have been struggling with having the clock of Linux VM's (including CentOS 4.6 and 5.1) running very fast under VMWare, no matter what I have tried. My platform: - AMD Turion X2 TL-60 - AMD 690 chipset with integrated Radeon x1250 (probably doesn't concern in this case) - Windows Vista Ultimate x64, all Windows Update patches loaded (no SP1 yet) - 4GB RAM - VMWare

Thanks I had this line in my /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf : include=/etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf the file /etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf was generated by /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf I simply did that : cat /etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf >> /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf It works now. May be the option "include" is not supported within the file chan_dahdi.conf

RE: [slugnet] Cannot change password!!!
I have got it. It works now. The problem actually lies with the passwd chat line. This applies to Mandrake Distro. [global] .. preferred master = yes logon script = netlogon.bat passwd chat = *New*UNIX*password* %n\n *Retype*new*UNIX*password* %n *passwd:all*authentication*tokens*updated*successfully* security = user ... Just wanted to share with you ppl. Cheers

Same thing. It will make sense to try Register => <FWDnum>@fwd.pulver.com:<FWDpass>@fwdnat.pulver.com:5082 but in that case Asterisk sends REGISTER sip:fwdnat.pulver.com SIP/2.0 which is not right. It should be sip:fwd.pulver.com but sent thru fwdnat.pulver.com:5082 BR Borut -----Original Message----- Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Using Asterisk with FWD through NAT From:

dovecot-stable: NIL from in envelope request
Using the latest dovecot-stable (20050213) with pine, I get an empty "from" header in my e-mails. This doesn't happen with 1.0.59-test, nor did it happen with the first dovecot-stable (20050131). Problem with fts found against Dovecot hg; examples + trace attached
I've been wanting to try out Squat for full-text indexing for a while now, so I finally gave it a whirl. I did a fresh pull from hg. I have it enabled, but it's taking *forever* to do a query. (Using alpine, I issued a Select command for all messages with some word anywhere, which presumably caused the Squat indexer to run.) I think Dovecot is infinite looping. I thought something

Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 18, Issue 144
I use dbget to set callerid, but it's based on account code, and set statically with the station, not the agent. Users can set callerid by dialing a function coded in the dialplan for that purpose. Overhead is not a problem. In your case, perhaps you can set the desired callerid into a channel variable using the "inheritance" syntax (double underscore) prior to the queue()

Ok, I did check it before and nothings related to this "#" key, if it's then system will announce that "Please key in the extensions", but not in this case. By default, the blind transfer is #1.....
