[Dovecot] dovecot-stable: NIL from in envelope request
Using the latest dovecot-stable (20050213) with pine, I get an empty "from" header in my e-mails. This doesn't happen with 1.0.59-test, nor did it happen with the first dovecot-stable (20050131). A partial connection log is below: 1.0-test59: IMAP DEBUG 15:23:32 2/13: 00000007 FETCH 1:41 (UID ENVELOPE BODY.PEEK[HEADER.FIELDS (Newsgroups Content-MD5 Content-Disposition Content-Language Content-Location resent-to resent-date resent-from resent-cc resent-subject List-Help List-Unsubscribe List-Subscribe List-Post List-Owner List-Archive Followup-To References)] INTERNALDATE RFC822.SIZE FLAGS) IMAP DEBUG 15:23:32 2/13: * 1 FETCH (ENVELOPE ("Wed, 03 Mar 2004 18:54:05 -0000" "[rowingdockmembers] Next Wed." I also see this behaviour with pine and dovecot-stable-20050213, and reverting to the 20050131 version makes it go away. David On Sun, 13 Feb 2005, Michael P.
