Images don't resolve on ArtWork/Logo
Hey
While trying to get some svg files of the CentOS logo I found that [1]
can't load the images.
The urls are :
http://gideon.nyarna.com/artwork/centos-new-2.png
http://gideon.nyarna.com/artwork/centos-logo-3.png
http://files.squirtgun.ca//CentOS/images/logos/centosLogoRound_v001.jpg
Maybe someone can fix this.

CentOS 8 Artwork needed
To all the artists and designers here, we need your help.
With RHEL 8 beta released, we need to start producing artwork for CentOS
8. It's time for the CentOS Artwork SIG, and anyone else that's
interested in contributing to this effort, to start working on
everything that will be needed for the new release.
What we know we need is anaconda artwork, and new desktop backgrounds to

[CentOS-devel] Authorization to use CentOS logo in GNOME Boxes
Thanks Rich for drawing this forward, I had missed it. (I generally
handle all the trademark usage queries.)
The key reference is this one, the trademark guidelines:
https://www.centos.org/legal/trademarks/
That document should give the GNOME project all of the authorization and
guidelines on how to use and not use the CentOS marks.

Translation of centos-art.sh script (Round 2)
Hi guys,
I want to thank you for all the feedback provided in previous mails
about the translation of centos-art.sh script. I would like to share
that, based on your feedback, the centos-art.sh script was updated with
the intention of removing the issues found.
I would appreciate if you could realize another test for the script.
Note that both the centos-art.sh script and the CentOS artwork

max size for album art?
Is there any size limitation for album art?
I have a user who says adding large artwork (from a scanner) is corrupting
the file metadata. I don't know if this is a flac limitation, a tag lib
issue, or something I'm doing.
Thanks,
Scott

Authorization to use CentOS logo in GNOME Boxes
People,
Firstly, sorry for the cross-list post (centos-devel and centos-docs).
I'd like to reach you in order to ask for a formal authorization to
use CentOS logo on GNOME Boxes[0]. GNOME Boxes already shows a few
other distro's logos as you can check here[1].
Would be possible to get the explicit confirmation that we could use
CentOS logo as well?

following the artwork thread, there appears to be an error at step 4.2 of the wiki article
at:

I set up a machine to test

2^24 = 16777216, i.e. only 16 Megabytes.

RHEL 4 + 5 wallpaper?
Hi,
I know I know: upstream minus artwork. Nevertheless, I admit I'd like to
simply use the RHEL background wallpaper for my desktop. Something like:
http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/linux/images/rhel4/44-Desktop.jpg
Can't seem to find these (4 and 5). Any idea?
Cheers,

strange error noise ...
The 'prepare' script uses a somewhat unusual construct a few
places that has permissions errors, leaking (harmless) noise
to stderr
/home/artwork/artwork/trunk/Scripts/Bash/Functions/Commons/
cli_printMessage.sh: line 70: /dev/stderr: Permission denied
echo "$MESSAGE" > /dev/stderr

Translation of centos-art.sh script
Hi,
Could any of you help me to localize the `centos-art.sh' script into
different languages? The infrastructure for doing it is already in place
and quite automated. All we need is that you translate strings from
English to your own language in an interface like the following:
#: trunk/Scripts/Bash/Functions/Render/Svg/svg.sh:54
msgid "Saved as"
msgstr ""

I'm not a designer, but what about using something that have some kind
of "centos look-n-feel" at the design level ?
What about the common banner we use almost everywhere, including wiki ?
