Which defect tracking tool (Dreamhost)
Hi,
Just wondering what people use for defect tracking generally in the RoR
community? Is there an open-source/free online defect tracking site
available? I already have my own SVN via dreamhost but am now thinking
about use of a specific defect tracking system for defects/enhancements
to track them.
Note - I''ve gone for Dreamhost hosting. Not sure if there is a specific

FreeBSD Coverity scan issues in OpenSSH -> how to contribute back patches?
Hi,
FreeBSD runs a Coverity static analysis scan on a weekly basis to determine whether or not there are issues within the software that we ship with FreeBSD. After the latest upgrade (to 7.4p1) I noticed that there are some new issues in SSH.
We (FreeBSD) have some local modifications to OpenSSH that are maintained for features or behavior (I believe), so I?ll need to go through our patchset

Out of 5 Grandstream BudgeTone 101 THREE are defect !!! (from Pulverstore)
I bought three plus two Grandstream BudgeTone 101 phones.
The shipping cost more than the phone itself from Pulver store.
The first shipping had one phone defect. Nothing on the display. (Can
happen!)
The second shipment had one phone with a defect display, but it still
worked.
The second phone's handset was defect too (microphone did not work).
Changing the handset from this one to the

[PATCH] RFC xen: suppress Coverity warnings about atomic_read and atomic_set.
Coverity generates false positives when read_atomic() and
write_atomic() are called with pointers to objects smaller than 64
bits (because it can''t see that the 64-bit access in the switych
statement is dead code).
I don''t want to automatically suppress all ofthose, because
read_atomic() and write_atomic() could still be called with mis-cast
pointers, but for atomic_t accessors

Coverity + XenProject + Process?
Hey
We have a static analyzer setup for Xen called Coverity. It allows
the code to be inspected for bugs and such.
Originally I setup this so that we could make sure that there are no
bugs that cause security issues - and as such invited only folks
on the security Xen mailing list.
But there are other folks who I am sure would like to contribute
and as Coverity is pretty amazing at analyzing

Coverity and libvorbis
Hi all,
I'm not sure if you are aware, but libvorbis has been scanned by the
Coverity static analysis team :
http://scan.coverity.com/
For libvorbis, it found 8 possible bugs.
To fix these bugs Coverity need a repesentative from the project to
contact them for access to the coverity reporting facilities.
The reason I am keen to see Xiph take up this challenge is that when

Defect question?
Hey guys,
Take a look at http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/732. The essential
''problem'' is that Rails doesn''t support a module and a class both
named Customer. (::Customer, not in modules themselves)
Is this something that''s even possible with ruby? it looks like it
should be marked as wontfix? But as I''m a little new to ruby, I
figured

[LLVMdev] x86_64 code generation defects when SSE instructions are disabled
Hi all,
Recently, I discovered a defect in GCC's code generation for x86_64 targets
when SSE is disabled. Upon testing with LLVM 3.2, I found that it also has
the same issues so I'm linking a GCC bug report I made. The proposed
solution for the second issue listed there also applies to LLVM:
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=59277
As I noted in the bug report, I'm not sure
