I?ve successfully implemented IceCast on a Raspberry Pi and can access the stream ONLY if I use an ffmpeg statement to start the stream. Unfortunately, the stream is choppy and the sound quality is poor. I?ve tried using ICES, but I don?t get any sound. All of my MP3's on my computer are categorized in folders named by the artist. I don't have any id tags on my MP3's. So all that is shown is the song title in the status section. I'm running Icecast 2.2.0 on a Windows 2000 server. I'm using Winamp with the SAM encoder plugin to stream an Ogg Vorbis stream (-0.55 quality stereo) from a remote machine.
