Mediatrix 1102 Problems
We have a Mediatrix 1102 hooked into the network. Both of the attached analog phones and all of their features work, but in the CLI we keep getting "-- Got SIP response 481 "Transaction Does Not Exist" back from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX " (Where XXX is the IP address of the Mediatrix ) every few minutes. I have changed most of the settings in the sip.conf multiple times and have done

Outgoing CallerID on PRI problems
For outgoing calls made on our PRI circuit we are setting the Caller ID using the format Exten => _9XXXXXXX,1,SetCallerID(1601XXXXXXX) The monitor shows that the CallerID is being set to the specified number, but yet when the call is received on the user end the ID is always the base number of our DID. For example we have 8600-8650 as DID's but the callerid is always 8600 regardless of

IPv6 interfaces Fowarding and non-forward.
I''m running fedora core 2 with 2.6.7 kernel when I have /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/forwarding Set on Listening Deamon''s will not respond to Sync requests. if I turn it off which breaks routing of course. then the Deamons can make connections. Is this suppost to be normal behavior when the box is routeing IPv6? This only happens with ipv6 connections.

Call Fowarding and Polycom Phone
I did not really spend too much time on looking at call forwarding and wonder if someone could help me. It seems that for setting call forwarding on the Polycom phone itself, only "forward all calls" will work. The other call forward function like "forward if no-answer for n rings" or "forward if busy" does not work at all on the phone. If that is the case, it

DNAT Accross Bridge
I run a Virtual Machine that uses SSH to remote forward Windows File Sharing securely across the net. I need to forward several servers and I map them to different high numbered ports on the SSH server (virtual machine), 10139,10140,10141. The virtual machine is connected to a bridge xenbr0 on the host system that also acts as a router - the server and a single interface on the host machine are

Several IP''s, one mail and http server
Hi, I want to have several IP''s for my connection and each IP will have it''s own hostname. Now I want to serve a web server and mail server for each hostname/IP_addr pair on the same box in the internal LAN using one apache and one postfix daemon. If I do one SNAT and several DNATs then only the hostname which I SNAT the server to would work. Is the only way to do it

DNAT PPTP questions

My rules file entry is as follows DNAT net loc:1.1.1.1 tcp 1723 DNAT net loc:1.1.1.1 47 and DNAT net loc:2.2.2.2 tcp 1723 DNAT net loc:2.2.2.2 47 however all the traffic only goes to 1.1.1.1 because its the first DNAT entry. DNAT and PPTP
Hello, I''m trying to setup DNAT to forward to a PPTP Server behind Shorewall. I setup the PPTP rules per your documentation with tcp port 1723 and Protocol 47 DNAT to my PPTP Server in the local zone. Looking at the logs it is dropping the connection going to port 1723. It is also dropping UDP port 1701, don''t know if it is of any significance. I looked at FAQ 1a and b and the

Is it that difficult?
Hello, You will find in attachment the layout of my current physical configuration. For now, the Cable ISP is not used. Since it is a dynamic ISP, my mailserver is rejected and my domain name registers on blacklists like ORDB and al. I want it to be used as a default gateway except for my mail server that would be seen as coming from my "honest" ADSL ISP. Here is

Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me with this: The setup is as follows: 192.168.1.254 - wireless ADSL modem, with DHCP pool on 192.168.100 - 192.168.200 192.168.1.250 - Linux firewall RED interface 192.168.2.250 - Linux firewall GREEN interface.
