icecast1 type stats logs in icecast2 ?
Here is a php script that parses out the stats.xml file from the admin of the icecast2 server. It currently only parses the page out to variables and still needs a bit of work. anyways here is the php source files http://cvs.casterclub.com/dev/icecast2_status/v1.3/ice2_conf.phps http://cvs.casterclub.com/dev/icecast2_status/v1.3/ice2_status.phps <p><p>Dave St John CEO Mediacast1

icecast1 type stats logs in icecast2 ?
Hi: You can get the info you want through the icecast2 admin interface. To use this, do the following: 1. Edit the following fields of the icecast.xml file: admin-user - set to the username to log into the admin system with. admin-password - The password to use with the username above. admin-root - the directory which will contain the XSL files for the admin interface. 2. AW: Icecast1: &quot;Client din't data fast enough&quot;
Hello Geoff, Hello Hagen, I have also this problem, I use shoutcast with shout. on a Sun SPARCServer 5 with 170 Mhz, and I don't know what I can do. Making higher buffering at the server-side ?!? but where ? Using a better Maschine (Sun Ultra60 with 2x450 UltraSPARCII Processor) its the same problem: the stream is broken with "Client din't data fast enough" in Logfile. I hear

Icecast winamp oddcast mountpoint problem?
>Using stream transcoder (also an oddsock tool) instead of multiple instances of oddcast DSP might help. Hmm, there is another problem. From this transcoder I can't choose my input device. I have 2 sound cards. First one is making an mp3 archive from audio source and the other one is/will be used for broadcasting. >and make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin. also try

Simpal Question
Hi, have you the full url to that plug in as I cannot find it there sorry. Andrew <p>Hi: I would suggest using winamp with the oddcast DSP plugin from oddsock.org. You can get it to stream live input by using the advanced controls mode. Geoff. <p> -- Geoff Shang <gshang@uq.net.au> ICQ number 43634701 Make sure your E-mail can be read by everyone!

Pre RC4 changes
Hi: I guess this is mainly directed at Monty. I see from the CVS list that a lot of changes have been going in lately, especially in the area of 44.1 and 48khz. I know I was certainly under the impression that this area was more or less complete. My question is, apart from the experimental 48kbps stereo mode that went in today, are the changes for 44.1 and 48khz going to result in quality

Higher mono bitrate in CVS libvorbis
Hi: I have been curious as to Vorbis' performance at -q0 for some time now. When RC3 came out, I used a track I have here and encoded it at q0 at 11.025, 16, 22.05, 32 and 44.1khz, both in stereo and in mono. After having heard the great sound of -q 0 in stereo, I thought I'd see what bitrate I got with -q0 in mono. I was disturbed to discover that the resulting file was 9.5kbps higher

disappointed with group
Hi: 1. Icecast 1.x is no longer being developed excepting for security patches and bug-fixes. Acordingly, it's probably also fair to say that it's not really being supported, since basically, the developers have other fish to fry. There is, of course, a decent sized user base, which I'm guessing would make up the majority of this list. 2. Shout has not been supported for some

Backup and Intro Mp3 File
On Sun, 2 Jun 2002 webmaster at chat-radio.de wrote: > is there any possibility to tell icecast an Intro and a backup MP3 ? Well, intro MP3 is easy. Put in a URL to your intro file, then the URL to your stream. In other words, have 2 playlist entries. as for the backup, maybe use the default mountpoint? > ANd WHY can this ***** Win Media Player/Real Player active X Plugin not Play >
