Hi, I'd like to broadcast the same source at multiple bitrate. Is it possible ? Have you got some clues ? Is this live content or predefined playlists? I think in most if not all cases, the answer to your question is 'yes', but we'll need to know some specifics before we can tell you how to do it. Have you got some clues ?Of course you can, there are many softwares wich do that, but the most performant for me are: --->ices (prerecorded MP3) You must run ices with reencoding, and run second ices with a different bitrate, run a third ices with another birate.... --->darkice (live recording) darkice can reencoding the orginal source (microphone) in 8 differents bitrates. You must know reencoding use CPU ressource. In hoping help you... -- CHRISTOPHE GUERIN (christophe.guerin@etud.univ-pau.fr) --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. I'm pretty sure I've seen it done.
