Hi, There's a rather serious problem with the Oddcast DSP for Winamp, when you stream in vorbis format over icecast2, it drops ~ 1/2 sec of near the beginning of every song except the first. Give a hint please how to compile winamp plugins. After ./configure && make I see no .dll and no .wac files in the source tree at all :( What am I doing wrong? I just tried installing the flac plugin for Winamp 3, and Winamp reports that, "This application has failed to start because MSVCRTD.dll was not found." The fact that it's trying to link against MSVCRTD.dll rather than MSVCRT.dll suggests that the plugin was built in debug mode; most Windows installations won't have MSVCRTD.dll unless Visual Studio is installed. ,steven.

When I copy the winamp 3 plugin into the appropriate winamp folder, and start winamp, Winamp complains that it cannot find MSVCRTD.DLL Was the plugin mistakenly compiled as Debug and shipped that way? This may seem simple but I've looked all over and come up with nothing. I'm interested in running Icecast 1.3.12 on port 80 to get around the firewall issue. Obviously it's not prudent to run Icecast at root so I'm wondering is there any way to safely run Icecast on port 80 using either setuid or port redirection? Has anyone accomplished this and if so, how'd you do it?
