No contact info on website and webcast cut.
Hi, I wanted to point on two issues that I''ve noticed while searching for info on Ruby on Rails website. First is that when I downloaded the migrations webcast, it was cut in strange place. It was 19:07 minutes long and it seems that it should be a little longer. Second thing is that when I searched the website to find an e-mail to report it, I didn''t find it. There is no contact

FEC and Stereo
Hi, One other question I was wondering about. Is the reason that we hear the crosstalk with fec and packet loss percentage>0 is that Opus uses information from the left channel to try to error correct the right channel and vice versa? I am trying to understand the origin of the crosstalk. Thanks. -Jon > On Jan 27, 2017, at 12:29 PM, Jon Lederman <jon at soniccloud.com> wrote: >

Help forcing crosstalk
Hey List-ee's! We're on Asterisk 1.2 with a PRI/T1 and maybe 50 phones. Issue: When a conference is ongoing (meetme), if a call is placed to a PRI # (CALLER A) the audio from the conference is heard by that caller while the # they dialed is ringing in the background. The opposite also occurs where an outside caller will be heard in the conference channel as well. Frequency: 2-3 times

FEC and Stereo
Hi Jean-Marc, Thank you. Yes, we do need both channels independent. So, if we encode each channel separately, we will be sacrificing the compression ratio we would achieve with stereo encoding, correct? So, based on what you say here is my understanding. Please confirm this is correct or not: 1) If we use fec, we can reduce cross-talk but increasing bitrate. However, that should result in

[LLVMdev] moving to svn?
Perhaps someone could come up with a list of different versioning software, list the pros and cons, and then we could vote? It looks like a very clean design, but currently it is a very anemic implementation IMHO. I constantly find myself trying to find out how to do a relatively simple task. Git is fast and has a lot of features, but

Stereo makes two assumptions: 1) It assumes the two channels are somehow correlated 2) It assumes the two channels are meant to be

Sangoma A200 wt HW echo on 64bit Centos , 4 fxo and crosstalk!
Hi, Has anyone ever experienced crosstalk with sangoma analogue cards on 64bit? We have exhausted every test to try and replicate this and find a solution with Sangoma tech support, but we can not fix it. We are about to try the card and four *seperate* UK BT lines in a 32bit system. The current system is a 4gb, dual core cpu with pbx in a flash 1.4, Zaptel and Asterisk 1.4.21-2 Currently we

Rails with BitKeeper
Hi, I''m currently writing a Rails app, in a repository controlled by BitKeeper. BitKeeper creates files, in the sub-directories it controls, so for source file yyy.zzz in Directory XXX it saves a file called s.yyy.zzz in subdirectory XXX/SCCS. When these files are created in config/initializers, rails tries to load them when it is run (as they retain the .rb extension). So my question

move rsync development tree to BitKeeper?
Andrew and I thought it might be an interesting experiment to move rsync to using BitKeeper rather than CVS for source code control. For a project with rsync's size and activity CVS is actually fine, but it would be a nice "toe in the water" with BitKeeper to get some practical experience before possibly using it on larger projects. BK is moderately well-proven on open source

Bug when flushing data in openssh 2.9
Hi! I am use SuSe 7.2 x86 and openssh-2.9p1-7.rpm I got a problem using bitkeeper on my laptop where bitkeeper reported an I/O error while reading data from 'ssh'. After much debugging, and some help from the bitkeeper people, I found out that that clientloop.c doesn't handle interrupts gracefully. (It died when it got an EAGAIN error when writing to the application) After applying

bitkeeper repository moved to cvs
The BitKeeper repository has been taken down, and all the code moved into CVS. While BitKeeper is a superior source management tool to CVS in many ways, it lacks in one important way, Freedom. With the recent change to their license, taking away more of our freedoms, I felt it was time to go back to CVS. All the code has been imported into the xiph.org CVS repository. I'll try to revise
