In the C# version of this code, these two copy regions are stored in
separate arrays entirely. I agree that there should be no normal way to
have the memcpy

I don't have access to any ARM64 hardware, but you might want to try

Sendig patches to speex
Thanks Tristan
The patch is attached and applies to speexdsp's master.
The warnings came from Wireshark's coverity scans.

VLC only sees a fraction of Speex wrapped in OGG
Friends,
My name is Igor, I am new to this forum.
I have a peculiar problem with my OGG/Speex implementation: I encode a
short PCM stream in OGG/Speex, but the result can not be read by VLC and
MediaInfo <http://mediaarea.net/nn/MediaInfo> reports that the file is too
short (240ms). In reality the file contains about 2.7 sec worth of audio.
Another interesting thing I noticed is that the

Speex on M3 for a device for a disabled person to use
Hi Tristan,
well... if speed is really his problem (and looking at those 72 MHz it
probably is), wouldn't Speek surpass Opus by far?
I agree that Opus is way better, but it's sadly also using more resources...
But yeah, Richard you should give Opus a try if possible ;) It's
generally easier to use then Speex and also more feature rich.
Yours sincerely,
Ren? Sch?mann

Sendig patches to speex
Hello devels
I'm a core developer of the wireshark project. In our audit process, a
piece of code of speex (the copy we maintain inside wireshark) showed a
flaw. I have a couple of patches I'd like to send you but I can't find
details about the submission process. Can you help me?
Thanks
Dario.

Using speex pre processor
Hello,
I am a newbie and wanted to know if a speex preprocessor, such as a
DENOISE, can be used with other encoders such as AAC.
We are developing video cameras using speex codec for encoding and decoding
audio when placing calls. We also stream live audio/video files out of the
camera and use AAC encoder for that as the server that we stream to
supports only AAC. But, the noise level is high

Speex on M3 for a device for a disabled person to use
I am trying to develop a device for a disabled person and need low bitrate
voice, speex looks good, however I need to find optimized M3 code and can
not, searched online all over, I use Keil also if that helps.
My M3 is 128kbps/64kram 72mhz, i only need to do a encode in one part and
decode in another.....
Please let me know if you can help this project with a link to optimized
code
Thanks!

Yum package/instlal/update problem
Hi gang!
I'm trying to update my videolan client (0.8.4a-4.el4.rf) to the latest
0.8.6 version. I see that Dag has a 0.8.6 for EL4 (I'm running Centos 4.4)
but when I do "yum update videolan-client" it says there's nothing to
update.
When I remove the videolan client than do "yum install videolan-client"
it insists on trying to install the 0.8.4 version:

Using speex pre processor
Hello Tristan,
Thank you. But I am using libspeex library. Does the speexdsp library be
included in it? Or it needs to be installed separate.
Appreciate the help.
Thanks,

theora video plugin ? videolan plugin?
hi, I'm Alexander a
just a question ? is there a reason why there shouldn't be a web
player for theora in Mozilla FireFox ? or Internet explorer ? I'm thinking
to compile videolan player with theora support only and enable the web
plugin interface, it would replace the cortado player and possibly provide a
better alternative to flash video plugin in linux when somebody starts a

What are the chances that a package such as vlc from http://videolan.org/vlc

Make check failure on clone from 31 January
Hi,
Apologies if this is a known issue, but running make on revision e3187444692195957eb66989622c7b1ad8448b06 fails one of the tests when using fixed point configuration (floating point is ok) on my linux x86.
Note that libopus1.1, as extracted from the tar ball, is OK.
Specifically, the tests that fail are in celt/tests/test_unit_mdct:
