I have few notes:
It seems there is changed API in CVS again. So, what about adding
function like
unsigned FLAC__format_frame_size(const FLAC__Frame *frame)
which returns size of the frame in bytes. This can be useful, for
example, in xmms plugin to display current bitrate like vorbis plugin
does.
If 'PERFORMER' field is missing in vorbis comment, it would be nice to

Ok, here is simple patch, it works for me, but I'm not familiar with
this stuff.

Voila, this was the source of all my frustration, sync problems and
who knows what.
My decoder now works correctly for files encoded with the default

OK, it works for me but I will fix it as the parens are not
necessary.

FLAC 1.1.2-beta: attn package maintainers
The FLAC 1.1.2 release candidate is now available at
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/flac/flac-1.1.2-beta.tar.gz?download
Only the source tarball is available. I am putting out the beta
first so that package maintainers and others can smoke test the
build/install/check process before the official one goes out,
since we've had problems before. Everyone that can, please
download and try:

[st.n@gmx.net: Bug#200435: xmms-flac: doesn't properly support long files]
severity 200435 normal
thanks
I received this bug report from a Debian user. I can't think of any reason
offhand why the command line tool would work while the xmms plugin would
fail.

amd64 issue with flac-1.1.3 beta2
Hi Josh,
I got a new computer yesterday, a 64bit intel core 2 duo. I am running
the amd64 port of Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy). I compiled flac-1.1.3 beta and had
trouble encoding:
