fixed point conversion volunteer (OMG what am I doing?)
Hello Mark:
Count me in. I'm an excellent C programmer and I've done assembly
coding. Although I've not done float to int conversions, I'll pick it
up quickly ... send me an example, please.
Also, I direct The Tech Startup Connection here in Silicon Valley, so
I have a very large resource pool. Check out

Glad to hear from you. What's your background?
I don't think we should use assembly just yet. Let's get a C version

[OT] OMG Verizon is terrible
Had an appointment for these schmoes to come out and install another
line. Was supposed to be 8-12. Its now 6PM and not even call. Missed
3 sales calls waiting on these jerks.
No wonder customers were jumping ship to Vonage.

Great. I looked into converting speex to fixed point a while ago, but my
job has gotten much busier

Operation Ticket Cleanup - volunteer to close fixed tickets
There are 532 defect tickets shown at
http://dev.rubyonrails.org/report/1
If each of us helps identify and close tickets that are no longer valid,
then we can probably get rid of 1/3 of them without any programming.
Just one closed ticket from each of us each day can really make a
difference.
All you have to do is try to reproduce the reported problem and post
your results. If you can

coding volunteers needed for msrpc server-side API conversion
ok, people, i _really_ need help with this. i estimate that if i work on
this full-time it's going to take about... two weeks.
i have one volunteer for the samr functions. it's been two days, already,
and i'm only half-way through samr.
that means, nothing else gets done, and samba-tng current cvs is broken
because the _samr_lookup_rids() function goes into an infinite loop on
that
