Removing folder at destination
Thanks Fabi, et all,
I will follow up with your suggestion using ssh for renaming the
directories after rsync. I appreciate the help.

[Bug 518] _PATH_STDPATH can get redefined in includes.h if paths.h exists
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=518
------- Additional Comments From djm at mindrot.org 2003-05-15 18:58 -------
I don't see this in the current code. includes.h includes paths.h fairly early
and pulls in defines.h very close to the end.
Can you confirm with CVS head or 3.6.1p2?

Rsync, subversion and directories
Hi all,
I'm attempting to build a backup system using rsync and subversion.
I have a samba share which I would like to replicate via rsync. The
replicated copy is under subversion control to store a 'history'.
This appears to work well until a directory is removed on the primary
(non-backup) file system.
The rsync command which I assumed would do the job:
$ rsyc -zrv

Rsync Setup
I have seen many ways to setup a rsync backup but I have never got one to
work on a centos machine. I have used 4.5 and 5.0 If anyone could point me
in the right direction, much thanks.

Rsync synchronizes unchanged files
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I wish to use rsync to synchronize a whole fat32 (MSWindows) partition
mounted into a linux system. I run rsync from linux.
The problem is rsync synchronizes most of the data even if the data hasn't
changed since the original image was made.
I used the -avz parameters to do the backup and the same for restoration.
Also I've tried just -rvz. It

Resumen de R-help-es, Vol 61, Envío 25
Hola Rolando,

LDAP authentication via PAM
I've configured dovecot to authenticate against a Fedora Directory
Server. The mail server on which dovecot is installed has the
nss_ldap and pam_ldap packages installed, and /etc/dovecot.conf has the
following two lines:
auth_userdb = ldap /etc/dovecot-ldap.conf
auth_passdb = pam
In other words, I want dovecot to use LDAP to access the user database,
but PAM for authentication. This part is
