UPS Reboots when Pi Reboots!
OS: Raspbian Lite 4.19 (Linux 5.4.51-v7l+ armv7l)
NUT version: 2.7.4
Install Method: Package (apt-get)
Device Name: CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD, connected via USB
Problem: This is a brand-new installation; the only step I've taken is my
initial edit of /etc/nut/ups.conf (which I'll post below). I started the
driver and after doing so issued a reboot command to my Raspberry Pi (sudo
reboot).

Can't get CyberPower UPS to work with Raspberry Pi 4
I've searched the listserv archive, to no avail, so I hope I'm not
duplicating a previous problem. I am anxious to get this working, so I'm
open to uninstalling what I have and starting over.
One note which may not be meaningful is that this UPS pre-dates the
Raspberry Pi I've got connected to it, and I used to use it with the
CyberPower software, which requires logging in with a

UPS Reboots when Pi Reboots!
Thank you Roger, I appreciate the response. I'll have to check my commands, I believe I started it with those systemctl commands you provided. What I can say is that oddly enough after completing the server config and after two more reboots a reboot of the Pi doesn't seem to be causing the UPS to reboot anymore. I have a bit more config to do on slave machines tomorrow but after that

connect Mac OS X 10.5.8 to Samba 4.9
On your Samba server, check build options: #: smbd -b - look for vfs_catia, vfs_fruit, vfs_streams_xattr modules.
If you have the vfs_ modules, then take a look at this:

Thanks for the suggestion though.
I've now been trying out the various Apple specific flags in vfs_fruit (
https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/current/man-html/vfs_fruit.8.html), though
with no success thus far.
Example settings tried in smb.conf:

Failed building any Samba version starting with v4.10.0
Hi team.
I've used to be able to successfully build Samba from source starting from version 4.2.3 on Raspbian.I've built and created packages from all minor & major releases until v4.10.0 was released. After that particular version, the "configure" step of the build process gets stuck all the time and never continues.
The platform I'm using for build now is the following:?

Using Integers to Store Bits of Information
Hi,
I am a very new to ruby on rails so please forgive me if someone has
asked this before.
I need to make a form with many checkboxes. Sometime ago I was using
Coldfusion and I chanced upon this great article on how to store flags
using binary numbers.
http://cfdj.sys-con.com/read/41674.htm
Just wondering if there is something similar in RubyOnRails that I can
learn from and use. That

Problem with Multiple USB UPSs, including multiple apparent CyberPower
Trying to configure multiple UPS on one Raspberry Pi 4 (Bullseye).
Issue: Whenever more than one is plugged in, one shows as all - as in "upsc
x" for all of them shows identical information for one UPS rather distinct
for each plugged in.

It is likely that you have built new nut but old nut is still on your
system. I do a 'sudo make install' to write over the distribution nut
(on NetBSD/pkgsrc, surely not what you are using).

vfs fruit requires filesystem with extended attributes support?
Why do you want TM to work over samba? Not sure it is supported completely by Apple although they did have developer documentation on it at one time:
https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/releasenotes/NetworkingInternetWeb/Time_Machine_SMB_Spec/
I did see this on reddit, but have not tried it personally:

When I created the User Documentation page "Configure Samba to Work Better with Mac OS X?, my intent was to help others in the same situation I am: I have a WD MyCloud (Gen1) running an old version of samba (4.3.11) with no expectation that the firmware would be upgraded for the latest & greatest samba. The device is still usable, but was not optimized for Macs, so I ssh?d into the

There is no voltage information
Thanks again.
So one more bit (other than indeed different libusb versions) that could
potentially come into play is bitness - armv7l builds are 32-bit, right?
One idea from here is to have you run the driver programs directly with
high debug verbosity, e.g. `usbhid-ups -DDDDDD -s Liebert` to compare the
two walls of text (at some debug level it spews byte data seen from
libusb); this might

tinc 1.1pre19 slower than tinc 1.0, experimentalProtocol even more
Hi there,
we're using tinc to mesh together hosts in a public datacenter (instead of
using a private VLAN, sort of). So all hosts are reasonably modern;
connections are low latency with an available bandwith of around 500Mbit/s
or 1Gbit/s (depending on how close they are to each other). Iperf between
two nodes directly reports around 940Mbit/s. The CPUs are Intel(R) Core(TM)

Samba4 and file permissions
Hello
I configured a samba 4.3.1 service on a Centos 6.5 32 bit system and installed it in the /home/samba/samba-4.3.1 directory (I know this is not a good place but it was the only partition with enough free space).
The samba is running as an Active Directory Domain Controller with rfc2307 enabled and embedded DNS server.
This is my smb.conf

There is no voltage information
Hello all,
I think I've found the "regression" in Belkin/Liebert USB HID support
which worked for NUT v2.7.4 and reports zero voltages in 2.8.0 -- it was
actually caused by a bug fix: practically the only functional difference
per `git diff v2.7.4..v2.8.0 drivers/belkin-hid.c` is a change from `abs()`
to `fabs()` in order-of-magnitude comparisons like `if( abs(value - 1e-7) <
