[Samba] vfs fruit requires filesystem with extended attributes support?
Why do you want TM to work over samba? Not sure it is supported completely by Apple although they did have developer documentation on it at one time: https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/releasenotes/NetworkingInternetWeb/Time_Machine_SMB_Spec/ I did see this on reddit, but have not tried it personally: https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/comments/83vkaz/howto_make_time_machine_backups_on_a_samba/ Have you tried using the modifications to your smb.conf ( or equivalent in your OS) recommended in this wiki? TM via AFP over TCP works well on a Linux server (ext4) so don?t know why your FFS wouldn?t work. https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Configure_Samba_to_Work_Better_with_Mac_OS_X
