Good Bye SAMBA?!?!?
Hein guys... I already said before: I LOVE LINUX!
And indeed, I use it in my desktop, here in my work and my home as well!
And I thing this debate is very very good to improve what we have today!

The user name or password is incorrect
Ok! Let try it again!
I really meant join the Samba AD Domain as domain member.
I wonder why I can do it with Windows 10, which is newer than Windows 2012
R2.
Thanks any way.

I hope it's your last post on any matter. You quit Samba very noisily.
If you don't remember doing so, just look at the subject line.
Don't look back. Go to your beloved Windows CIFS. You've found

Hello list
I have Samba 4.1.17 installed via Zentyal Server 3.5.
When I try with Windows 7 and Windows 10, I am able to get into Samba AD
Domain.
But, now, when I try insert a Windows Server 2012 R2, I get this message:
The user name or password is incorrect.
5 minutes ago, I try it with Windows 7 and Windows 10, and everything works
fine! And try it using the same username and password.

Uhm upgrade.. to zentyal 4.2..
Setup a member server, now enable l2tp with winbindd
That should work fine.
Winbindd can not run on the AD DC, but it does on a member server.

aware about what OS is more solid etc...
I am just saying that in an enterprise grade, we need more professional
tools and better, needs tools that almost anybody in your staff can
handle, if you become unavailable, for some reasons like a flu or
whatever...
That is it!
