DKIM fail if WHM adds Message-ID, should be Message-Id
I created a client library to send emails for a webapp.
When the client library makes a connection to the SMTP server, and
then do NOT add Message-Id header, Message-ID (with a capital D)
header is added, and the SMTP server adds a incorrect DKIM-Signature
record 'h' part, invalidating the generated DKIM signature value.
This causes outlook, yahoo, gmail and other email recipients

cpanel on CentOS
Hello,
Anyone running cpanel on CentOS3.4, could you please tell me what you
see at the top right corner of your WHM, where the version numbers are
listed?
Do you have "RedHat Enterprise 3 i686" like on RHEL or is cpanel aware
that it''s CentOS?
Thanks,
Francois

x86_64 CentOS 5.3 Users - Library Issue
Hello,
I need to conduct a little research.
Anyone who is running CentOS 5.3 x86_64 please run the following:
# yum install libxml2-devel
# nm /usr/lib64/libxml2.a | grep xmlXPathContextSetCache
If my suspicions are correct, if you run cPanel/WHM you will not see
any output and if without cPanel/WHM you'll see something similar to
this:
00000000000023a0 T xmlXPathContextSetCache
Thanks

DKIM Verification failures
Hi,

I have noticed that when I post to this list (only), I get DKIM
Verification failure reports from:
root at moncton.sidefx.com (e.g. for my last post: "DKIM failure report
for job 4D27B5DC4E on mail.sidefx.com")

SELinux policy for dkim-milter
Hello,
Does anyone have a sample SELinux policy for dkim-milter?
I'm using the configuration from this page:
http://www.howtoforge.com/set-up-dkim-for-multiple-domains-on-postfix-with-dkim-milter-2.8.x-centos-5.3
Along with the latest RPM from the link on that page.
Regards,
Ben

Calling all Hackers
Hey guys.
I have a server that is owned by me and can confirm through servint that it
is owned by me.
I would like to do a penetration test and of course to allow you to upload
files on the server and kind of trash it to the point where it is always
restarting and running out of memory etc etc.
This is going to be mainly script kiddie stuff, however will be able to get

How to get ruby running on a webserver
Hi, I have purchased a VPS that has WHM cpanel. I have logged into the
root of my system using putty and installed ruby 1.9.3 via rvm and rails
3.2.9.
I have created a website in cpanel that has created a public_html
directory that is live and working on the web. I then created a simple
ruby website called blog in the public_html directory. My question is
how do I get the ruby application to run

followup to request for centos C/W
just to follow on my earlier post, i have pointers to a couple
commercial C/W manuals for RHEL administration, but both of them use
an entire chapter discussing virtualization using Xen. i'm under the
impression that RH is firmly in the KVM camp (at least for now), and
that learning Xen on red hat/centos wouldn't be as useful as learning
KVM.
thoughts?

DNS SRV records
My DNS gui(Cpanel/WHM) only allows the following options for entry type:
A6
AAAA
CNAME
MX
NS
PTR
TXT
WRK
Does anyone know if any of these options are acceptable substitutes for an
SRV record, or do I need to put in a ticket to have a SRV record
specifically created for me?

DKIM
Okay,
Yahoo is bumming me. Only system my mail is having an issue with. All mail
is accepted, but junked. I can only think it is the DKIM/Domain keys.
It is apparent that the dkim-milter is not part of the centos 5.x distro nor
is it part of the mirrors, as far as I can tell.
So...have any of you done it with your servers for sendmail?
There are some sites that claim to have rpms and I have

cpanel and ices
Why does cpanel want to remove ices files? How can I prevent this from
occurring?
What I get is /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libshout.so.3" not
found, required by "ices" after cpanel does it nightly updates.
Also if I do a SIGHUP to ices to update a playlist, do I just need to
issue the command ices SIGHUP? What would be the correct format.
Again, I apologize for
