Repo for Debian-Buster
Hi there, Any news about Debian Buster packages in Dovecot community repos? We would greatly appreciate! Soon going live with two rather big Dovecot servers and would prefer upgrading them to Buster before. I will definitely bow my head and look for some donation button! Thanks, Philip > On 2 Sep 2019, at 14:43, slater.ch via dovecot <dovecot at dovecot.org> wrote: > > Hi, >

Error with dbcheck after upgrade to 4.10.2
Hi Louis and others, While I cannot speak for the GP, I've had this same problem since I recently (finally!) upgraded to Samba 4.8 (4.8.11). In fact, the very reason I wanted to run dbcheck for was to confirm that Samba still works correctly after upgrading (it does seem to replicate normally, anyway).[1] I've configured Samba with the following switches: --enable-debug --enable-selftest

Debian Buster RPi Louis'-repos
I have two DC's. One on an Intel based box and the other on a Raspberry Pi (2B?) both using Louis' repos running Samba 4.12.3. In comparing "samba-debug-info.txt" (generated by Louis' "samba-collect-debug-info.sh" script) I see that the RPi /etc/nsswitch.conf (file) does NOT include /systemd/ in the 'passwd' & 'group' lines like the Intel

Packages missing from repo
Hi, Since a couple of weeks the Dovecot packages for Debian Jessie and Ubuntu Trusty have disappeared from the repo. According to https://repo.dovecot.org/ they should be in https://repo.dovecot.org/ce-2.3-latest/debian/jessie and https://repo.dovecot.org/ce-2.3-latest/ubuntu/trusty, but that leads to a 404. Where can I find them? Jon

Really slow IMAP performance
Please could you help me to understand and fix why my dovecot IMAP performance is so bad? I've read through a lot of the performance-related material on the website, but I don't think that any of it could account for slowness at the level that I am seeing. The simplest scenario is moving a message from my Inbox to another IMAP folder. Using Gnus as the client, the whole UI freezes for

Repository / builds for Debian "buster"?
Speaking of repositories... Debian "buster" (future version 10) has for some time been "stage 1 frozen" (if I have the terminology right) and quite usable. Perhaps it's starting to make sense to make a repo / start producing builds? -- Kostya Vasilyev kman at fastmail.com

Pending mirror synchronisations, R 3.6.0 is now available for Debian buster on i386 and amd64 architectures. Please refer to https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/debian/ for details. At the moment I am not providing binaries for the arm architecture for buster, as the SD

Debian Buster Samba 4.13 online (amd64/i386/armhf )
Hai, ? Debian Buster Samba 4.13 is now online on my repo. Info : https://apt.van-belle.nl/ With the release of 4.13 the following changes are going to happen in the repo's. Current (recently sended?list) OS-sambaXXXX with EOL wont be supported anymore, upgrade your OS and/or Samba versions! EOL repo's will stay online for about 6 months, that gives sufficient time to upgrade.
