Fatal: nfs flush requires mail_fsync=always
Hiya all,
I'm seeing this "Fatal: nfs flush requires mail_fsync=always" error on
my testbed. The issue is that from what I can see, mail_fsync is set
to always :
# doveconf -n | grep mail_fs
mail_fsync = always
The result is that the client does not connect at all, which is not
really what I wanted to happen :)
Any idea what is going wrong here?
Best regards

problems with Auth and Alpha 1a
Hi all
I'm not quite sure how to explain this problem, so I'll just go from the top ;-).
System is setup on a FreeBSD with IMAP and POP3, both can use PAM and SQL (MySQL) as login methods, though only POP3 is accessible from "the world" - IMAP is restricted via firewall to only localhost. Simple eh?
The problem is that dovecot apparently drops the SQL part from time to time.

Strange behaviour with multiple auth channels
Hey all
Just upgraded to Test-61 and at first everything looked like it worked
without a hitch, I could log in and check mail (yay! ;-) ).
Since I could log in, I never suspected anything would be amiss. Later
one of my users told me he could no longer log in, regardless what he
tried. Password error I thought and told him to go change his password,
but then he explained he had not changed

[LLVMdev] Compiling LLVM on SPARC
Hello all,
I've been trying to compile LLVM and LLVM-GCC on the SPARC architecture,
but I've been running into lots of issues:
LLVM 2.5 works, but 2.6 does not -- gcc can't even parse the triple.h
file needed in commandline.cpp. For 2.5, there's a compile error for
llvm-gcc for that version. I've been compiling with gcc 4.5.0, and have
also tried 4.4.3.
I've turned

Authentication hanging with 1.0alpha4 - mysql issue?
Hello,
Recently, I configured my server (RHEL4, 2.6.9-22.0.1.ELsmp) to run postfix 2.1.5 and dovecot 1.0 alpha4. It connects to a MySQL database (mysql 4.1.12) to verify authentication. From 30 minutes to an hour after dovecot is started, authentication and mail access works perfectly. However, after those 30 minutes to an hour, further attempts to authenticate with dovecot result in

How to repeat code snippet for several variables in a data frame?
Dear all,
I have a data frame containing the results of an experiment. Like this:

colnames(test)<-c("replicates","bins", "groups")
test$abc <- rnorm(32)
test$def <- rnorm(32)
test$ghi <- rnorm(32)

The following code snippet aggregates the data for one variable and then

Hi
As this '-R' command initially works fine I guess it must be a bug.
I have to login at a computer which is hidden behind NAT. The user
(joe) at the computer then connect to my server with the command:
ssh -R 1234:localhost:22 test.com
Then I login to test.com and connect back to joes computer:
ssh -p 1234 localhost
I get successfull connection every time but after a few

I wonderif there is a simple way to draw a regression line in the xyplot:
more specifically, let:
age <- c(20:30, 31:40 )

y<- rnorm(20)
x <- rnorm(20,4,1)
xyplot(y ~ x| age.cut, xlab="x", ylab="y")
How to draw (in the plot given by xyplot) the two regression lines (y ~ x) corresponding to the two category

[LLVMdev] get function local debug info?
Hi,
If I have an instance of DISubprogram, can I get the debug info of local
variables of the function, including parameters?
I tried to use the getVariables() function defined in DISubprogram, but
it seemed to return an empty DIArray node when I ran my pass alone using
opt. Do I need to enable any other analysis passes in order to populate
the data?
My related snippet of code is like the
