Linksys SPA94x keep-alive reply replies to wrong address (1.4.32)
It appears as though the 489 Bad Event response to the NAT keep alive event responds to the local address, instead of responding to the NATted address. This causes Linksys phones to go amber (no registration) after a short amount of time after placing calls. Turning the Linksys NAT keep alive off is a workound, but non-ideal in may situations. Apparently the asterisk devs don't even think

OPTIONS Keep alive - Reply: 481 No subscription
Hi all, Anyone know how to make asterisk properly reply to options keep-alive? Or just force a 200 OK somehow? I recently took over a server and they have ~80 pap2 devices that send nat keep-alive and * always replies with 481 No subscription. It's more of an annoyance, I know but I like to keep my pcap's clean. S. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

IAX2 keep alive?
In a setup I've made i have a problem in the two way origination of the call. Asterisk 1 <==> Public internet <==> NAT <==> Asterisk 2 note the two way pointing arrows. When you call from the *2 to the *1, the call passes, but if you try to call from the *1 to the *2, it will not connect, unless you call from *1 to *2, and inmediately after hang-up, you call in the other

Asterisk 1.6.2.20 lost registration bug with NAT keep-alive
We recently installed this update, and found that half our customers would lose registration after about a minute. Packet capture shows that the phone sends the keep-alive packet (a SIP options packet), gets back a SIP 481 no subscription, then immediately loses registration. Turning off keep-alive fixes the problem. This is with Cisco/Linksys SPA phones, both older 9xx series and the newer 303

Virusscanning
Hello list, I use currently a non-dovecot pop3 proxy which has the ability to scan all passing mails for viruses. And I like dovecot. I have to combine both. One (and the only) idea is to call a virusscanner a shellscript, installed as PostLoginScript. But I see multiple disadvantages: 1. it's a shellscript which tents to be slow. 2. it's called *on* the mailbox-host, not on a dedicated

Keep Alive packets
Hello Everyone, Would it be posiable to add a "keep alive" option to rsync. The problem I am having is that the connection is dropped while rsync is scanning the local directory. If "null" packets are send to the server every 60 seconds or so, the connection will stay up and the sync will work. Or maybe there is an option that does this already ? Thanks, Pieter De Wit

[Bug 1889] Keep Alive packets
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1889 ------- Additional Comments From wayned@samba.org 2005-02-12 15:05 ------- Note that in the new version, this too-long receiver-side scan can be avoided by using --delete-during (--del). However, I'm still considering adding a "keep alive" message. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.samba.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email -------

NAT keep-alive
Hi, On my linksys/sipura phones/ATA, there is a setting called "NAT Mapping Enable" and another called "NAT Keep Alive Enable" These settings must be on in my setup so that my phones/ATA remain connected to my * server. My setup is: Home LAN - Pfsense (NAT, Dynamic Public IP)- Internet - PFsense (1-to-1 NAT, Static public IP) - Asterisk server. I was wondering:

[LLVMdev] How to keep FunctionPass analysis result alive in Module Pass?
Hello, I am trying to write a new ModulePass using LoopInfo analysis result, but it seems I misunderstand some concept about PassManager. Basically I want to keep LoopInfo analysis result alive. Here is an example showing the problem I encountered, assuming I already addRequired<llvm::LoopInfo>() in getAnalysisUsage: void foo(llvm::Function *F1, llvm::Function *F2) { llvm::LoopInfo

Where did Alive go?
Sorry, we really screwed up the server migration. Alive is now working again and should be fixed for good :) Permalinks are still missing; we are working on recovering those. Apologies again for all the trouble. Nuno -----Original Message----- From: Sanjay Patel Sent: Monday, October 2, 2017 5:10 PM Subject: Re: [llvm-dev] Where did Alive go? keeping UDP "session" alive when using NAT
I'm running Tinc on a Linux machine inside my home network, connecting through a NATing router to a Tinc server out on the Internet. I've noticed that fairly frequently the SSH sessions I leave open (but unused) get aborted with a "Connection reset by peer" message. When I investigated closely, I found that after a period of inactivity my router times out the UDP

Where did Alive go?
Alive is now working again. There was a migration to a new server. Permalinks are still being copied from backup; they will work again shortly as well. (I would probably not create new ones since they may get replaced while the copy is in flux). Craig I know it's a pain compared to the web interface but Alive is pretty easy to install and run from a shell. AMI check if connection is alive
I'm using a perl daemon i wrote to connect to AMI and perform actions. The daemon connects to asterisk via AMI at start up. Is there anyway to check if the AMI connection is still alive, for example every 2 seconds. if the connection is not alive, re-connect to AMI? Also, does AMI timeout after a certain amount of time of not sending commands? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML
