nutdrv_atcl_usb
If you still can't get it to work with nutdrv_atcl_usb, another approach could be worth considering. Since this UPS seems to be supported by UPSmart2000I, it could use a serial-over-usb implementation of the megatec protocol. A very first early version of the nutdrv_qx driver that should support it can be found here: https://github.com/zykh/nut/tree/nutdrv_qx-fuji (USB subdriver

Unsupported Printers - just "sticks" in the lpd queue ;(
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello: I've configured a Linux box with Samba to act as a secondary domain controller for an existing NT server. I've gotten everything working very nicely, all my file shares set up, etc. I've got 6 printers that I need to set up as print shares. The ones that speak Postscript or PCL were very easy to set up, and work admirably.

using lpadmin to add printers in CentOS 7 (v. CentOS 6)
In CentOS 6, I could do: lpinfo -m then pick the model I want and put it as the option to -m in lpadmin (line wrapped): /usr/sbin/lpadmin -p printer -o printer-is-shared=false -o Duplex=None -o Resolution=600dpi -m 'gutenprint.5.2://pcl-g_5e/expert Generic PCL 5e Printer - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.5' -v 'socket://mydomain.edu' Alas, in CentOS 7, no matter what I do, I always get:

Patch to support Powercool PCRACK-1200VA
Hi Folks, This is my first post on nut-upsdev. I would like to share a small patch to enable support for the Powercool PCRACK 1200VA ups. I found that the UPS uses megatec/krauler protocol but is sensitive to the USB buffer length passed to it in requests via usb_get_string(), and usb_get_string_simple(). If the buflen is greater than 102 then the ups will reply to requests but does not

Eaton 5PX 3rd party batteries
Sounds like great advice, thanks! Would you care to post it to the NUT wiki or in-source FAQ document (or can I)? Probably the meaningfulness of specific company names is too geographically and temporally limited, however the technical part is universally applicable. Shorewall and printing problems in the LAN ( loc ) zone
Guys, Just a quick check. From what i have read in the shorewall site, intrazone traffic is allowed completely by shorewall i.e. there is no filtering or packet size limiting ,etc,etc. I ask this becos after getting shorewall up and running well, someone has complained that they cannot print pdf files larger than 100k at one go but that they have to print one page at a time. Some details;
