[PATCH supermin] Add support for a DAX root filesystem.
DAX is explained in detail here:
https://lwn.net/Articles/610174/
This patch adds support to supermin for using a DAX root filesystem.
The corresponding libguestfs patches will be posted shortly once I've
tested them a bit more.
This requires qemu >= 2.6.
Unfortunately it's not really a win for a few reasons:
- Requires enabling ACPI, which slows everything down by hundreds of

updating qemu-img-ev 2.6
Hello!
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/virt/x86_64/kvm-common
Latest is now qemu-kvm-ev-2.6.0-28.el7.10.1.x86_64.rpm
while http://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/linux/enterprise/7Server/en/RHEV/SRPMS/
has qemu-kvm-rhev-2.6.0-28.el7_3.12.src.rpm
A few questions:
A) Does kvm-common have RPM builds from RHEV's SRPMS?
B) Is the plan to keep kvm-common up to date with RHEV?

Trying to upgrade from R 2.7.1
[Running debian stable]
I followed the instructions at
http://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/debian, adding
deb http://cran.R-project.org/bin/linux/debian lenny-cran/
to /etc/apt/sources.list. But apt-get still leaves me with R 2.7.1.
How can I diagnose what's wrong or correct this?

How can we achieve vga emulation over a serial port in libvirt
Hi
For the latest seabios version, it said: Support for vga emulation over a
serial port in SeaBIOS (sercon).
So I want to know how can I find the application of this feature in
libvirt? And whether my understanding is correct?
There are no related instruction on the website: https://libvirt.org/
My understanding:
(1) The feature means: we can set this the IO address of a serial port to

Today...I thought I would work on getting my MS Office 2010 to install and work. I hosed every thing. Had MSXML issues and sorm rtpd4.dll file I had to down load and over

Problems with Wine on Debian
Hello all,
I am fairly new to Linux, so I hope that the following problem is not just me being ... new to Linux.
I have been trying to install Wine on Debian (Etch 4.09 I think it is called). I first tried to use the
apt-get install Wine
command followed by the winecfg (creating the .wine folder), but when I tried to run the notepad.exe (i.e. with the command wine

at the bottom of xml.
'virsh' creates domain a okey but in VM I do not see

Re: [PATCH v2 0/7] tests/qemu: Add program for tracing and analyzing boot times.
I gave this series a spin, along a custom QEMU, and `supermin` from Git,
for my `libguestfs-test-tool` itself fails with:

Installing LLVM 3.8 on Ubuntu 14.04
You want to look at the apt-add-repository command, basically you
provide that command like:
* sudo add-apt-repository 'deb http://llvm.org/apt/trusty/
llvm-toolchain-trusty-3.8 main'
* sudo apt-get update
* sudo apt-get install clang-3.8
Cheers,
-Neil.
