The only linux-based client that, if I recall, can speak native MS mail
protocols, was Evolution.
I don't know if it still does.

An 'orrible question: Outlook 365 under wine on CentOS?
Hi,
I've used Davmail against sExchange in the past, with success.
If that doesn't work for you, then the easy way out is webmail which is decent, in fact I have colleagues prefering it to the standard Outlook program.
Office365 does offer IMAP though and it works reasonably well, I use it with Thunderbird, hopefully they won't disable that - wonder as to the reason of it.

Mark,
While we still run an EXIM service for the bulk of the company, I do have it
happily co-existing with a small (15 user) Office 365 setup.
Personally I am using a Centos 7 laptop but my emails are handled by
connecting via SSH to an old Fedora 8 box running KDE and KMail.
This connects perfectly happy with my Dovecot/EXIM local server and to my
Office 365 account also using IMAP/SMTP.

Yeah... and this is O365.
Stupid question: if I check out evolution... will it munge my thunderbid
email inbox or folders, or could it read them, and just create its own
indices?

Either CentOS 6 or 7 - anyone know if it's possible?
Upper Management has decided on a policy that IMAP is going to go away in
the near future, and they want everyone on Lookout, sorry, Outlook 365.

Can't open R files
Hello. I'm not sure whether this is strictly the right forum but here goes... I have got a new (well reconditioned) laptop and have installed R studio on it. That works fine if I say write a little prog directly into it or paste R script from a word doc. But if I try to open an R prog (which I've written elsewhere, the laptop doesn't recognise it as an R prog. Instead it gives me

IMAP folders showing no messages in Office 365 Outlook
I'm new to Dovecot. Using Dovecot IMAP with Postfix, everything works
fine using Thunderbird. But with the same setup, no messages show in
IMAP folders for user accounts created in Outlook, accessing exactly the
same server as the accounts in Thunderbird.
Dovecot version 2.3.7.1.
Is there any configuration required that is special to support Office
365 Outlook clients? How to debug this?

IMAP tuning for Outlook 365
Hello,
I'm looking for advices on IMAP config tuning for best user experience
with Outlook 365.
I'm currently using dovecot 2.3.4.1 (f79e8e7e4) provided with Debian 10.
One of my users has Outlook 365 and an IMAP mailbox of large size with
several folders (more than 3GB).
From time to time as his main inbox folder is growing he can see some
problems with its Outlook application.

IMAP tuning for Outlook 365
Ok sorry to NOT have an answer you are looking for but I don't want
anyone wasting their time on what is clearly a microsoft issue.
Outlook 365 / Outlook since 2010 simply does not support imap.
You can tweek it here and there however here are the basic's
Outlook IMAP does not support IDLE thus no auto upating of the inbox and
other folder changes etc...
Outlook (this if from
