I can confirm that Steam In-Home Streaming does work properly over tinc, for having tried it myself, as long as tinc is configured to route the broadcasts properly, as Guus described. Looks like the fsck bug has been stomped! I did a 960G drive this morning, and I'm 90% of the way through a 1.4T drive, both of which have *lots* of files and hard links, and it has *not* hung at 70.1%, and is running at reasonable speed. It would help with rsync quality if we had an automatic test suite that could run on the build farm machines to validate functionality. Writing a test suite is hard when there is no requirements document. The best thing to do is probably to start with the functionality that is both commonly used and easy to test, and work up from there. So in the case of rsync this is copying from one directory
