gtkpod
High and low searching (google, most of the repos in http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories) availed nothing - has anyone found a repo for gtkpod on centos-6? I seem to recall having to use fedora packages at some time in the past. Bit loath to do that again or compile from source. Thanks Bob

Looking for some recommendations for applications on CentOS (MP3, FTP)
Last time I asked for some recommendations on this list, I was told about some great software that I hadn't been able to find myself, so I'd like to ask again. I've been having a hard time finding software that satisfies in the following 2 areas: 1. MP3 player and play list manager. Something that can ideally generate smart playlists based on MP3 tags. (I've tried XMMS, Amarok,

wine is6 problems
Hi all, I am trying to install an application which uses Install Shield 6 under wine (wine-20040505, built from source). I copied over stdole32.tlb from windows installation. There are no other native DLLs apart from this. But the setup crashes. I have enclosed the backtrace. Googling led me to many threads with similar problems. I'm trying to get Access 97 running under wine and have it connect to a mysql server running on the linux side of the machine. Importing cds in OGG & FLAC in itunes/OSX
Hi all , Just to be sure : even if we can now use XiphQT to have import/export quicktime function on mac OSX for vorbis and theora , we still can't tell itunes to import a CD in Ogg vorbis , if I have understood ? is this because itunes handle certains things like playing streams and encoding Cds in a non quicktime standard way ? --

RE:Ogg Support for Windows XP - Itunes
Hi , I'm just sought inquiring about the status of windows xp port of your project ... I'm a fun of ogg vorbis but I'm severely limited when it comes to ogg and stuff ... it kinder gets frustrating to have 10000 applications just to be able to play an ogg vorbis related file. I so like your idea currently i 'm using itunes 4.9(hich has been reduced to act as a db manager) plus the
