ustack() issues && correlating SIGSEGV activity?
Howdy,
I was playing around with the malloc/free D script provided by
Philip Beevers:
http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=4224&tstart=15
And decided to change the free:entry probe from:

{
printf("Freeing %p (size %d)\n", arg0, sz[arg0]);
sz[arg0] = 0;
}

ssh-keygen listing fingerprints little unclear
Since ssh-keygen is not listing the _types_ of keys I have in my file,
wouldn't it be a good idea to make the -t switch filtering out the
selected type of key when doing a listing with -l?
i.e. in this case I see both rsa1, rsa, and dss keys:
$ ssh-keygen -l -f ~/.ssh/known_hosts

Hi
I am unable to impute using the MICE command in R when imputing
a binary variable using linear discriminant analysis. To illustrate my
problem I have created a dataset, which consists of 1 continuous and 1

variable is partially observed.
I am able to impute using the MICE command where the imputation methods is

re: Samba PDC shared applications and a default start menu profile (Kevin S. Brackett)
Hi
I'm currently doing exactly this for several sites. Within Win2K
and above it is possible to configure Local Group Policy Objects, so that
the ALLUSERPROFILES value is pointed to
%LOGONSERVER%\Software\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu
Thus when a user logs in, they see the the menus stored in their profile,
overlayed by these on the Network Drives.

Glusterfs/CTDB/Samba file locking problem
Hi guys,
I try to set up two identical installed up to date CentOS6 machines with Glusterfs/CTDB/Samba .
I have set up Glusterfs and it works. I have set up CTDB from CentOS and it seems to work too.
Samba is AD integrated and works mainly.
The main problem is that file locking seem to not work between the machines at all. If two Win7 clients try to open an document

question for audiophiles only):
I encode CDDA tracks to FLAC and play them on my Pocket PC (PDA). I'm
looking for a high quality headphone to connect to my Pocket PC, but it must
be an in-ear one but not like these:

An "R is slow"-article
Hi all,
Reading the wikipedia page on R, I stumbled across the following:
http://fluff.info/blog/arch/00000172.htm
It does seem interesting that the C execution is that much slower from
R than from a native C program. Could any of the more technically
knowledgeable people explain why this is so?
