There is apparently an issue where we only >write a PID file when the driver goes into the background, and "-D" prevents that. I don't see another usbhid-ups running ... unless its "hidden".... I would have to install the unhide package then.... /var/run/devd.pid

Here are couple of things I tried. 1) Changed the USB cable. Same problem 2) I put an old CyberPower CP550SL w/USB&SERIAL and it recognize it right away via the USB port I don?t know if that will give you any insight or eliminate certain things with the Tripp Lite SMART1300LCDT or not. So when the UPS is communicating with the driver... it seems to work.? Problem is now that it keeps disconnecting.? Any recommendation on how to keep the drivers from disconnecting using the usb_set_altinterface?? (PS.? Is there a specific value to use?)? Or this confirms there is an issue with the usbhid-ups driver with the FreeBSD 10.2 kernel? upsc upstl1300 battery.charge: 100

Here are all the usbconfig outputs you have requested. I have left a message with the Dev for NAS4Free to give up the ./configure for NUT portion.? I am hoping they will... usbconfig -u 0 -a 5 dump_device_desc? datanas: ~# usbconfig -u 0 -a 5 dump_device_desc ugen0.5: <TRIPP LITE UPS Tripp Lite> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=LOW (1.5Mbps) pwr=ON (100mA)? bLength = 0x0012 ? bDescriptorType =

(e.g. 9.3, 10.0) FreeBSD 10.2-RELEASE #0 r286738M the last person probably wasn't able to give the ./configure probably because most people uses the precompiled iso to install NAS4Free.? if you need the ./configure I might have to look for their source on GitHub or something. /usr/local/libexec/nut/usbhid-ups -a

I'm obviously biased but I like Tripp Lite stuff. I try to pitch in and help with Network UPS Tools issues related to Tripp Lite when I can too (albeit the developers and users on this list are usually more helpful than me). Just to confirm, it sounds like you are looking at the SU5000RT4UHV, correct?

Tripp Lite Smart Pro UPS
I have several Tripplite SU2200RMXL2U and SU3000RM2U units that I would like to monitor using Nut. I have tried to attach to the units using a serial cable with the tripplite and tripplitesu drivers with no success. The drivers simply seem to not recognize the UPS. I then tried using the tripplite_usb driver with the usb cable. It definitely sees the UPS but I am getting errors which told me

Thanks. I haven't used that unit specifically with Network UPS Tools, but have used similar (from a protocol perspective) units. I'm working remotely for a while, but on the off chance I get into the position to connect a unit via USB, what Operating System are you using? If the opportunity arises, I can try to set up a basic test. Thank you, David Zomaya Business/Quality Analyst-

Tripp Lite Smart Pro SMX1500SLT / SMARTINT1500 - not identified via serial port
I have an SMX1500SLT running on USB just fine. I not want to buy/add a SMARTINT1500. However before doing so I was trying to make sure there was a chance it would work under Nut. The SMX1500SLT has both serial and USB, but the SMARTINT1500 has only serial. I was therefore trying to switch the SMX1500SLT to serial to ensure the server comms were ok, and that there was some chance that the

Re: "Does it work well with NUT?" Assuming it is the SU5000RT4UHV, the similar units I've tried seemed to work fine. For reference, the SU5000RT4UHV should be a 4004 USB protocol. ________________________________ From: David Zomaya Sent: Wednesday, March 25, 2020 5:21 PM To: Lee Damon; nut-upsuser Mailing List Subject: Re: [EXTERNAL] [Nut-upsuser] thoughts on tripp lite Smart
