UPS Product additions to NUT HCL list for compatible Tripp Lite UPS systems
Hello Mr. Leppe,
See the attached excel file that covers the current Tripp Lite HID compatible UPS systems. There is also an attached Word document covering the UPSC / UPSCMD / UPSRW information from the specific UPS systems. Let me know if this is adequate to get our additional HID compatible products added to the NUT HCL listing.

Just a lucky guess :-) We tend not to know about changes like this until someone reports an issue.

Drawing a colour wheel - bug in hcl?
Hi All,
I'm trying trying to draw a colour wheel (a slice of hcl space) in R.
Running the code below doesn't give me what I expect - there's some
oddly bright colours of the wrong hue around c(0, 0) and I see three
coloured circles (a small magenta, a medium sized yellow and a large
cyan). Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in the hcl code?
(Also any suggestions for

Help with Tripp Lite Internet600U
I have a brand new Tripp Lite Internet 600U UPS connected to my Raspberry Pi 4 running the latest Raspbian.
I installed nut and tried to configure based on your HCL (which I did not check before buying...)
Doesn't "just work" - help?
this page says that my model is NOT on the HCL, but the drop downs on the search seemed to say otherwise? (see attachment)

SU2200RTXLCD2U and protocol 4006
I don't have the Tripp-Lite model that you have, however the NUT HCL
http://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html suggests that the SU2200RTXLCD2U
ought to work via USB. Tripp-Lite sometimes uses proprietary serial
cables, so you may need to hunt down a pinout for the serial cable this
unit requires. If you need to use a serial connection, I'd start by
looking at how their PowerAlert

Evolution of the driver.list file
Fellows,
as you might have noticed, the online Hardware Compatibility List is
evolving a lot with the new website:
http://buildbot.ghz.cc/~buildbot/docs/r1940-91/website/stable-hcl.html
now, 2 more information are needed to provide better filtering and more
accurate information:
- the type of device, since NUT now support UPS, PDU and SCD,
- the support level, as it was discussed, to show which

calculating average ratings and other imponderables
Okay, this *should* be easy, but it isn''t, although I reserve the right to
smack myself upside the head if it is:
Assume that a smart has_many ratings, and a rating belongs_to a smart (the
models are fine). Each rating has a column smart_id.
Each smart, then, has many ratings, with a column called "rating" that is
an int (1-10).
I want to find, say, the ten smarts with

[HCL] POWERCOM PCM SPD-1000U
Hello !
Could you be so kind to hint me about supporting Powercom PCM SPD-1000U by
nut ?
I didn't find this model in your HCL. Do you have plans for adding this
model in your HCL or maybe I can use some similar driver ?
I tried to connect my SPD-1000U with FreeNAS using another drivers for
Powercom from HCL, that use nut, but without success, seems because it's
not in HCL.
Some output
