Roadmap to 2.7.3
Hi,
There is one issue that I would consider as a major issue and not fixed
yet. It is the use of wall time for scheduling ups polls instead of a
monotonic clock source. I provided a (partial) patch in the past and I
believe there was some work on it.
The bug manifests itself as a stop of monitoring with no alarm when the
clock is moved backwards in time.

Seconding ... or firsting, considering the recent call to testing hidden
somewhere in a recent mail post ;) Currently I'm aiming at cutting a NUT
2.8.1 release during October.
As a bit of self-imposed retrospective:
I did hope for a faster (quarterly or so) cadence when I made the 2.8.0
release, but then a few issues came up as regressions of 2.8.0 and it
became a sort of crusade to fix

Adding PDU support to NUT
I've recently been working a bit on adding PDU
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_distribution_unit) support in NUT.
Some of you might have seen the Powerman thread, which also deals with
adding more PDUs support:
http://powerman.sourceforge.net/supported.html
The result is that we now have support for 2 Eaton | Powerware ePDUs
(Managed and Monitored iirc, check http://www.epdu.com).

Nut-2.7.3 & gcc-3.3.6
Dear developers,
libnutclient has been added as a C++ alternative to libupsclient in 2.7.1.
As a result I can't compile nut 2.7.3 with gcc-3.3.6. There wasn't such a
problem with nut-2.6.5.
Is it possible to add a configuration parameter like
'-without-libnutclient' to provide better compatibility with older gcc
versions please (since libnutclient is an alternative to

cool thing!
But duplicating the NUT Device Dumps Library [1].
The DDL can also serve both users and developers purposes, by providing
these dumps as .dev files (usable with dummy-ups).
I'm looking for someone to help me completing
