Counter Strike: Source update breaks OotB functionality
As discussed (ad nauseum) on the AppDB page, for Counter Strike: Source (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=3731), the Nov. 19th update breaks out-of-the-box functionality (for some of us, anyhow) Could this have something to do with raw mouse input? I will add a terminal output later unless someone beats me to it (and they're identical..) :P Thanks in advance

Counter-Strike Source won't open
Hi there, I'm running Linux Mint 10 and installed steam last night. To do this I followed the instructions found on http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=3731. Everything worked fine, I updated and downloaded Counter-Strike Source successfully. I can run steam without a problem, but when I try to open Counter-Strike Source nothing happens. I get the window with

Counter Strike: Source. Crashes upon joining game.
Hi. I am running Ubuntu 8.04 and wine 0.9.60. I have got loads of steam apps to run including team fortress 2. However, when I join a game in Counter Strike: Source, as soon as I get to the team select, it freezes up, with the gunshot sounds repeating. It then simply closes. I looked on appdb and the main causes are alsa sound, and to make sure only alsa sound is selected in winecfg. I also

Counter Strike Source rando quits, and that's pretty much it
I was very excited recently because for the first time in my attempts to get my windows games to work with wine I actually managed to install steam, counter strike source, and half life 1. And then it actually launched and everything seemed to be going so well but then I joined a server, and after a while counter strike just quit on me taking me back to the desktop. I haven't found anything

Wine on Counter Strike: Source
I've been at this for 2 months now, and I just cant get Counter Strike to work on my setup. I have Ubuntu 7.10 64 bit edition, an x1900xt video card with the latest drivers, and wine 0.9.58 (The last known version of wine compatible with Counter Strike Source). My drivers are installed correctly, and I've successfully installed Steam, and even Counter Strike 1.6, which works fine. When I

Problems with Steam (counter-strike)
Hi everyone, I recently switched to Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake) GNU/Linux. I installed wine 0.9.9 using Synaptic package manager, and then downloaded steamInstall.exe from http://www.steampowered.com. The installation worked more or less (at first, it occupied progressively (according to the system monitor widgets on the panel) all the free space in my /home/~ (1,2 Gb), all the swap space (1Gb)

Counter-Strike Craches
Hey, I have installed Ubuntu a few days ago, since my experience with Windows Vista has been horrible. I decided to run steam using wine, and I was also going to run Counter-Strike. So I installed wine first using the following command, "sudo apt-get install wine". Then downloaded steam and installed it. When I launched Steam, my friend's names were very hard to read. It's like
