polycom auto answer
I was trying to get my polycom phone to auto answer.
I added this to the dialplan. Used a different phone to call "22"
and the phone rang it did not auto answer.
Did I miss something?

Cisco 79XX phones not talking to asterisk
Hi all,
I have setup my Cisco 79XX phone. Did the tftp, put the config files in the
right location with the right names. Booted my phone, it does the tftp
things,
the screen shows my extensions everything seems fine. However, when I
come offhook and try to dial 11 which is just a playback of demo-congrats
in the dialplan the phone says
Calling Out (INV)
below is my sip.conf file - I presume it

auto seek a server
Hi all,
When putting multiple centos 5.1 boxes on a network (DHCP for network)
and 1 centos 5.1 server
is there a way that these clients can automatically "seek" the server.
Is there something in centso 5.1 that an inquiry can be sent out that says:
Is there a "Product XYZ" on this network?
And the server - and not all the clients - can respond to this quiry.

kernel change
that "drivers" can automatically be recompiled and a service restarted?
Do I need to make my own?
Thanks,

T1/PRI ignore answer signal
Is there anyway a T1/PRI can ignore the ANSWERED signal and just go
straight from a dial command
to the call was answered?
I have a PBX that when calling a certain analog trunk it is not giving
me signaling that the call was
answered however I hear the PA system come off hook and give dial tone.
So is there something in the dial command that can override the
signaling and just go straight to

Still can't make it work (LONG)
Well gang, I'm back and still haven't figured out why Samba isn't working with my Windoze PC's. I though I was close a couple times, but now I'm back to square 1. So now I'm going to spill as much information on you guys as I can in the hope that someone will notice what I'm doing wrong and help me get this thing running.
Here are the computers on my home network:

I am getting TRUNCATED call information....
the IAX2/muncie_to_ge is truncated. How do I

using command line to setup auto login
I am trying to find a way to set auto login for a machine under X using
the command line.
I presume I want to use gconftool-2 to do that. Under the old X centos 4
I edited /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf
This file no longer exists under X 7 for centos 5.
I cant find a way to "show all" under gconftool-2 so that I can see what
the key/value pair should be.
When I do "gconftool-2 -a "

Centos 7 Install
It looks like its these files:
drwx------ 2 root root 8192 Aug 17 16:11 lu10398gvo2au.tmp
drwx------ 2 root root 8192 Aug 17 16:14 lu3245gvrkvp.tmp
drwx------ 2 root root 4096 Aug 17 16:14 lu4298gvwjcr.tmp
That just keep growing and "many" files in each directory.
Over time it fills the / root partition.
What is making those files ? How do I stop it?

CentOS 7 httpd cgi script file not able to write to /tmp
Fun fact... If I echo my data to the same directory as the script is
located in it works. But it does not allow writing to /tmp
I'm good with that.

Nvidia error
yes the error is still the .90
I looked back, everything was working Friday... I did a yum update on
Friday but did not reboot. I rebooted this morning and I have the issue.
The kernel package before was NOT the 693.5.2 it was 692.2.2
Does that help at all ? my kernel is not yet supported or something ?
