New L7 Filter option for netfilter
Hi all. There is an interesting project that was called opendpi (originally by ipoque GmbH) and recently been forked and maintained by the ntop guys under the nDPI label. It offers a new and currently maintained layer 7 (L7) packet identification library. It could definitely benefit from more eyes and development effort, but at present it gives much better breakdown of traffic for ntop

CentOS nDPI kmod avaliable for testing
I have been working for quite some time building nDPI iptables module from vel21ripn for many Linux distributions and I just finished couple basic tests on the module for CentOS 7 and I am quite satisfied. I am looking for other CentOS 7 admins who will want to test this iptables module. More details are at: https://github.com/vel21ripn/nDPI/issues/18 Thanks, Eliezer ---- Eliezer Croitoru Linux

Aw: Re: Re: rsync not copy all information for font file
Ram, ? Look inside the .AppleDouble folder and tou will find the resource forks that hold the main part of the font data. ? Not a 'problem' with netatalk, but just how netatalk works so that it can represent apple files on non-apple filesystems. ? ?If you confirm the data all matches, this will prove rsync is working properly. ? [LLVMdev] OpenMPI and llvm-gcc
Hi, I was wondering whether or not MPI-libraries are expected to work with llvm-gcc? I tried to compile openmpi-1.3 using the llvm-gcc4.2-2.5-x86-darwin9 distribution on my MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.6. Installation using the gcc (gcc version 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5490)) worked well. But for the llvm-gcc I get the following error message (during the make): > .... > Making all

packaging flac for debian
Hmm, I wonder how the package search I originally did for it failed. I guess I have a couple wnpp bugs close, but no other work wasted. Dear R Users--- [Because I struggled with this for a while, I decided to post it into r-help for the benefit of others, where google search will pick it up. thanks to everyone who made these facilities available.] The task is to use your own opentype otf fonts in an R-created pdf file using the pdf device (not with the [excellent] CairoPDF device, if only because it does not have colorspace
