Actually, during your next maintenance window, is it possible to verify that the driver sees the "OB" and "LB" status values?
We also might want to add R/W variables, and the instant command to enable shutdown.

Tripplite UPS (SU10KRT3/1X) through snmp-ups (nut 2.6.5)
Hi, Nut-upsusers,
I am having problem configuring NUT to work with Tripplite UPS through SNMP.
There is a Tripplite SmartOnline SU10KRT3/1X and attempts to monitor it
using NUT though SNMP are failing...
OS: Enterprise Linux 6, Nut version: 2.6.5.
ups.conf is configured:
[trippliteups]
driver = snmp-ups
port = 10.200.254.39
desc = "ProductionServer"

Thanks, now I started getting messages from the list.
As you advised, I renamed the mib file NETCARD.mib to Tripplite and ran
command
./gen-snmp-subdriver.sh -H 10.200.254.39 -c public -n Tripplite
Here is what it says:
snmp_build: unknown failuresnmpget: Error building ASN.1 representation
(Can't build OID for variable)
COUNT = 0 / 0
Creating tripplite-mib.h
Creating tripplite-mib.c

Socks support
Hi!
This is not exactly a development contibution but more an expression of
opinion. Didn't find a better place to send this to.
I've been using openssh on Linux for some time now. Works just fine with one
exception.
Since I work at a company which likes to live behind a wall we use a socks
firewall for allowing some connections to the world (we *should* be a part of
it, but I'm not

TrippLite/Compiling on FreeBSD
Hello,
I wanted to see if there's any chance that NUT will support a few new
TrippLite UPSes that we just bought:
Sep 9 01:42:25 miko /kernel: uhid0: TRIPP LITE TRIPP LITE OMNIVS1500XL,
rev 1.1
I grabbed the devel sources via cvs, but am having trouble building it
when I enable the "newhidups" driver:

TrippLite OMNI1000LCD hiddev compatibility
Hi all:
I am trying to get a TrippLito OMNI1000LCD working with nut.
Even with the development branch, I get the following....
upsdrvctl start
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.1.0
Network UPS Tools: HID UPS driver 0.13 (2.1.0)
Warning: This is an experimental driver.
Some features may not function correctly.

Tripplite Smart 2200 and Battery Voltage
For my Smart 2200, a charged battery string is anywhere between 25.6 and
26.8 volts. I'm seeing nut report 13.0 volts, which seems suspicious. Even
if the UPS were reporting half of the actual battery voltage to keep
protocol compatibility with models having a 12V battery system, the value
of exactly 13.0 seems unlikely.
According to the page at

Tripplite SMX1500XLRT2U through serial
Hello list-
Anyone with Tripplite SMX1500XLRT2U
(http://www.tripplite.com/EN/products/model.cfm?txtModelID=2687)
successfully integrated with NUT through serial port? I'm trying to
connect to SMX1500XLRT2U using serial cable shipped with UPS under
FreeBSD 6.3-STABLE and NUT 2.2.2 installed from ports. Unfortunately,
it looks like it couldn't be recognized.

possible regression in genericups with Tripplite UPS
reported through launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/253999
the possible regression is between nut 2.0.1 (sarge) and 2.2.1
(confirmed Jamie?)
@Arjen: it may be related to some of your changes there...
@Jamie: we'll need some debug output from the drivers (-DDD)

Command summary for Tripplite 500
Tim,
thanks! Does this UPS have a USB port as well?
The key thing for TrippLite UPSes is this command:
Command to UPS Response from UPS Function
:00FFCR 00005XXXXCR unknown
The second and third bytes are the protocol number. I think I may have
misinterpreted something in the formatting -- what are the hex values
of the bytes in this command/response pair?
I don't have time to

Tripplite SmartPro Net 2200 driver
I am using NUT 2.0.2 on SuSE Linux 9.2 which is attached to a Tripplite
SmartPro Net 2200 UPS. I have Nut using the included tripplite driver,
and it is communicating with the UPS correctly.
The battery voltage of theTripplite reported by the NUT server is 13.5VDC.
If I attach the UPS to a Windows 2000 server running Tripplite's PowerAlert
software, the battery voltage is being reported as

Fun with TrippLite
Hey
I recently picked up a couple SMART1000LCD TrippLite UPS's. These are
similar to other usb ups's that have been mentioned on the list in the
past few months. I tried a few patches posted last month and got some
amount of success. That being said, I am thus far unable to get much love
from the actual upsd itself. Any pointers in terms of what I may need to
change or what help I can
