Thanks, found the installation there.
Please try building snmp-ups, and let me know how the output of upsc looks.

Rebuilt is with "*--with-snmp" *option, installed and started nut
processes, and they are working :)

Actually, during your next maintenance window, is it possible to verify that the driver sees the "OB" and "LB" status values?
We also might want to add R/W variables, and the instant command to enable shutdown.

Autoreconf --install error
Hi all!
I checked out the rev2366(it's stable NUT 2.4.3) and patched last
liebert-esp2 revision + spiros last code.
After, I used autoreconf --install and
I gave the follow error msg:
configure.in:86: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_C_FLEXIBLE_ARRAY_MEMBER
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.

Tripplite UPS (SU10KRT3/1X) through snmp-ups (nut 2.6.5)
Hi, Nut-upsusers,
I am having problem configuring NUT to work with Tripplite UPS through SNMP.
There is a Tripplite SmartOnline SU10KRT3/1X and attempts to monitor it
using NUT though SNMP are failing...
OS: Enterprise Linux 6, Nut version: 2.6.5.
ups.conf is configured:
[trippliteups]
driver = snmp-ups
port = 10.200.254.39
desc = "ProductionServer"

Thanks, now I started getting messages from the list.
As you advised, I renamed the mib file NETCARD.mib to Tripplite and ran
command
./gen-snmp-subdriver.sh -H 10.200.254.39 -c public -n Tripplite
Here is what it says:
snmp_build: unknown failuresnmpget: Error building ASN.1 representation
(Can't build OID for variable)
COUNT = 0 / 0
Creating tripplite-mib.h
Creating tripplite-mib.c
Done.

Strange regression on FreeBSD buildslave regarding HP-UX scripts
For reasons unrelated to NUT, I upgraded my FreeBSD-x86 buildslave machine from 9.1 to 10.0. This involved rebuilding the whole ports tree, but no other (intentional) changes were made.
Now, I get this error:
(cd scripts && make top_distdir=../nut-2.7.1.5 distdir=../nut-2.7.1.5/scripts \
am__remove_distdir=: am__skip_length_check=: am__skip_mode_fix=: distdir)

Any HP-UX users left? was Re: Strange regression on FreeBSD buildslave regarding HP-UX scripts
Please see below. I think I know what is going on (it seems to be a make/gmake incompatibility), but to fix it, I need to rewrite some of the HP-UX packaging code, and I need a HP-UX user to help test this. Otherwise, I'm going to just rip it out for now, and add it back in when someone complains.

Evaluation "conflict" in combination of replicate() and rexp()as variable inside a function
Dear userRs,
"playing around" with combinations of replicate() and random number
generating functions inside a self-defined "wrapper" function I encounterd
a puzzling behaviour.
The following are intentionally simple (and rather nonsense-) examples to
isolate the relevant aspects. Please, note the seemingly "inconsistent"
behaviour for the second call of

problem with function "Truncate" in package "distr"
Hello all,
Can someone tell me why the following mixture of two log-normal
distributions does not get truncated? What puzzles me is that the
function works almost always, but for certain combinations (like the
one below), it does not.
# R code example
library(distr)
mix<-UnivarMixingDistribution(Lnorm(3.2,0.5),Lnorm(5.4,0.6),mixCoeff=c(0.3,0.7))

questions about setMethod("Arith", ...)
Hi,
we have some questions concerning the definition of new arithmetic methods.
In our package "distr" (on CRAN) we define some new arithmetic methods
for "+", "-", "*", "/".
After loading "distr" the corresponding arithmetic methods work. Now, if
we define a new
class and also a new method for one of the arithmetic methods

Tienes que escribir a la dirección r-help-es en r-project.org, no a las
