Help: Vultech UPS 1500VA (richcomm_usb)
Hello and welcome! Just recently there was a trip down the memory lane with another device with Richcomm-based hardware, and ultimately nutdrv_qx driver happened to support that one: https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/2395 Some key take-aways were: * try starting the driver with bumped debug verbosity (e.g. from command line, or using a `debug_min` setting with NUT v2.8.0 and

Richcomm Serial driver
Hi, I'm trying to configure my ups with nut which is a locally made one. It uses a rs232 port to talk to the computer and comes with a software called "Powermanager Lite" which is provided by Richcomm and supports Windows, Linux and UNIX. According to the manual it uses the Richcomm circuitry to talk to the computer and uses a drycontact protocol. Unfortunately I couldn't

How do I get the richcomm_usb driver
I am a complete novice in this area so please bear with me. I have installed nut version 2.6.2-1 for my debian 64bit system. I am trying to implement 'nut' for a new VIX2120 home UPS and have determined that I need the richcomm_usb driver [usb 0925:1234]. But it is not in /lib/nut although referenced in the documentation (driver.list) How do get hold of a copy? Due to ignorance I am not

Problem with upsmon?
I have a Gentoo linux (OpenRC) desktop connected to a UPS, the brand is Vultech, but lsusb gives me this: Bus 003 Device 006: ID 0925:1234 Lakeview Research and I found an article about this hardware here, someone had it working with the richcomm_usb driver: http://verahill.blogspot.it/2012/12/kstar-australia-1500-va-ups-on-debian.html So, I installed nut and configured my UPS to work with the

Help: Vultech UPS 1500VA (richcomm_usb)
Heya, first time posting to a mailing list so please excuse me if I do something wrong :) I'm new to NUT and trying to get things working on my TrueNAS, I have a "Vultech 1500VA" UPS which comes with the software "PowerManager II" and it seems to be using the "richcomm_usb" driver. There are 5 devices in the compatibility list and I tried all of them, sadly to

Help with USB support for a Kebo UPS-650D
Folks, I'm fairly new to this whole Linux UPS thingie, but I'd quite like to have a look at getting my UPS to work under Linux and would be grateful for any help in getting a driver. I have a reasonable working knowledge of Linux and software development, and thus am happy to modify config files, alter kernel settings, etc, although I'm no C guru. I have a Kebo UPS-650D, which

R Function Guide
Strange as it may seem, I've been digging into R a lot these last few months and, although I was aware of help.start(), I hadn't ever tried the search link. That is a very nice feature. I humbly suggest that section 1.7 in the R Intro have a line added that goes something like this: "The 'Search Engine and Keywords' link in the page loaded by help.start() is particularly

WinXP "developer" asks: Tcl/Tk (Rcmdr) under OS X?
It is my understanding that Tcl/Tk does not come with the base installation of R under OS X ( http://www.sciviews.org/_rgui/projects/TclTk.html). Is there a simple way to explain how a user with limited tolerance for computer complexity can obtain and install Tcl/Tk for OS X? Thanks. I've been able to modify the menus themselves and source test code but I can't get R functions to execute from the menu. My latest proof of concept code follows: Three lines added to "Rcmdr-menus.txt": menu junkMenu topMenu "" ""

Compiling errors for Matrix_0.995-5.tar.gz under XP
I installed the MinGW-5.0.0 compilers today (gcc-3.4.2 is now contained in the 'Current' distribution. When the current compilers failed to compile the referenced Matrix update and not knowing how to check the exact version numbers for individual files, I applied the Id.exe and f771.exe fixes from the 'Building R for Windows' page (http://www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/#ldbug).

[Rd] Citation for R
My subject line refers to a thread from June 2005 where I found explanations from Uwe Ligges and Friedrich Leisch as to what is intended by the R citation recommended within the software. Forgive me if I missed some points within the thread but when I found myself circling through messages I had already read, I stopped trying to follow it. I understand and mostly agree with how the R citation is

List dimention labels to plots of components
It is frustrating to see the labels I want in the dimensions of a list but not be able to extract those labels into titles for plots generated from component objects. If someone could set me straight, I would appreciate it. For your amusement, I have provided an example of the Byzantine code I am currently using to avoid loops: # Simulate ANOVA type test data sex<-c(rep(1,8),rep(0,8))

Sweex 1000VA UPS (Lakeview Research)
Hi all, i've read a thread about this UPS from Peter van Valderen. He tried to develop a driver for this specific type of UPS. I've downloaded nut-2.2.2 and tried to apply the patches (lakeview.patch & lakeview.v2.patch) but both resulted in rejected chunks. I've tried to ./configure with type lakeview and then a make, but the make command fails. Does anybody has any
