elsist UPS
Hi, I'm new of this list.
I installed nut with apt on my ubuntu64, my ups is an elsist and with it
I found the Driver's CDROM only for windows. It's branded Fenton but on
it there is also printed Safenet.
I had no particular problems installing nut with safenet driver. But
when I'm trying to connect it with the command: upsc elsist@localhost i
get this output
driver.name: safenet

Dynamix 1000 VA USB and NUT
Hi Volker Kuhlmann and Richard Nelson,
As both of you are interested in where I got up to with getting my Dynamix
1000 VA UPS working with Linux, here is the details. It works.. But not too
well, as the driver still seems to need some work, and is not in the main nut
source as far as I know. It also seems to sometimes not respond when it
should.
The manufacture has uses the same format as

Dynamix 650 VA USB UPS
Hi James,
I'm referring to your post here:
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsuser/2010-September/006201.html
Have you got by chance any more info on the Dyamix 1000VA model? I was
foolish to buy the USB version because it had a better display on the
front. Is there any way to get this to go?
I have tried all the USB drivers in NUT (on pfsense 2.0RC1) and none do
anything

Hi Roger,
Thank you for your advise. I tried

But unfortunately I get the same error message ?Failed to execute command
?upsc 'ups' 2>&1': Error: Driver not connected"
As I am not very good in using OMV, maybe there is something else I should
do? Thanks

MGE ellipse 1200 config and documentation
Hi,
I have recently purchased MGE ellipse 1200 UPS for my home system. Obviously,
the choice of this particular brand was mainly dictated by MGE's
long-standing support for Linux and NUT project. The fact that the box was
clearly the prettiest looking one on the block did help also ;-). I have had
NUT tools installed and configured in no time, as I did it numerous times
before -- kudos

infosec e4
Hi,
Sorry for my poor english but it isn?t my native language.
I?m testing an infosec E4 with nut-2.6.4-2.3 on Proxmox ve 3.0 (based on debian wheezy). The drivers that match this ups, is blazer_usb.
Btw, I have try nut-2.6.5 with unstable repository from wheezy, but it still doesn?t fully work.
I can shutdown my computer when battery is low, but unfortunately I can?t shutdown ups.

nut 2.2.0 doesn't see MGE Elipse 1200 on FreeBSD 6.2
I'm back to trying to get my MGE Elipse (USB) talking to my FreeBSD
system. It used to work fine on Linux (quite some time ago), and was
sort-of working with the last release of nut. The system would see the
UPS, but couldn't get reliable data from it.
Now that I have upgraded to 2.2, I no longer see the UPS at all with
nut. The usbdevs command shows it:

USB support for Sweex 1000 VA UPS (was: Help with USB support for a Kebo UPS-650D)
First off, my apologies for bringing back this thread from the dead
(September 2005,
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2005-September/000150.html),
however my problem seems relevant enough that I wondered what happened
to this thread as it seems to have died after the message I quote
below.
Despite the fact that I am having trouble getting my Sweex 1000VA UPS
(USB) to work, and

How to shutdown the system and put UPS in stayoff status rather than in return status

- exact device name and related information: AtlantisLand Host Power

My only problem is that I would like to change the behavior of the NUT
