Mustek Powermust 600VA
Hi,
I'm having a hard time configuring a Mustek Powermust 600VA ups to
work via USB with nut. I read somewhere that nut works OK via the
rs232 cable, but unfortunately I don't have a COM port in my computer.
The kernel detects the ups as an Xbox pad :) and loads the xpad
module. I tried running /lib/nut/megatec with different /dev/ttySx but
it displays megatec protocol UPS was not

Sweex 1000VA UPS (Lakeview Research)
Hi all,
i've read a thread about this UPS from Peter van Valderen. He tried to
develop a
driver for this specific type of UPS. I've downloaded nut-2.2.2 and tried to
apply
the patches (lakeview.patch & lakeview.v2.patch) but both resulted in
rejected
chunks. I've tried to ./configure with type lakeview and then a make, but
the make
command fails.
Does anybody has any

sweex 1000VA LB OB issue
Hello folks,
I have a question regarding a sweex product. Its bundled with UPSmart v
2.12.
I installed nut accordingly to the user manual included in the software.
A quick check of data/drivers.list revealed to me i should use the:
"Sweex" "500/1000" "contact closure - shipped with
UPSmart" "genericups upstype=7" driver
this driver

Unsupported UPS using megatec_usb
Hey all, thanks for your work on nut. I recently got myself a new cheap UPS, and have thus far determined very little about it. I can run whatever you
like to help identify and work with it. So far I've played around with various settings and have had some limited success with the megatec_usb driver
(Debian testing version):
----ups.conf----
[plexus]
driver=megatec_usb
model=500VA

Sweex 1000VA UPS
Hi,
I'm trying to get a sweex ups working with nut on debian sarge.
This one:
http://www.sweex.com/producten.php?lang=1&%20sectie=&item=59&artikel=95
It's shipped with UPSmart and according to the compatibility list it should
work with the
genericups upstype=7 driver. But it doesn't.
I get:
mybox:/etc/nut# /etc/init.d/nut start

Sorry if I wasn't clear - I was advocating *renaming* the lakeview_usb
driver to richcomm_usb.

NUT usbhid -- trying to write USB (sub)drivers
Hi Rok,
I retired from working on NUT a few months ago, so I don't have the
most up-to-date info. But the guys on the nut-upsdev mailing list
(cc'd above) are very helpful.
Both of your devices (or nearly identical ones) have been seen on the
mailing lists before. The Sweex was first mentioned in a message by
Eli Wapniarski on 14 Jun 2006 on nut-upsuser, and was most recently

sent two 0 byte packets to the driver, then it sent

seems to come back up as well, and then the UPS turned off.
I'll play around later with what happens in that regard, although it
may be a bit tricky to figure out when the battery is low without
having it plugged in ;-)

sweex UPS 1500VA
Hello,
have some of you tried sweex UPS 1500VA
(http://www.sweex.com/en/assortiment/power-security/power-protection/PP220).
It is not listed in hardware compatibility list.
As I can see, sweex can be problematic with drivers, but it is not possible to
change this UPS to other model now.
It is connected by USB and lsusb says only:

Sweex UPS 500VA
Hi,
FYI for all whom have the Sweex manageable UPS.
I got my sweex manageable UPS500VA working with NetworkUPSTools using the
ippon driver. Here is my the ups.conf file:
[ups]
driver = ippon
port = /dev/cuad0
desc = "Server"
Has anyone tried the ippon driver with Sweex 600VA, 700VA, and 800VA models?

Thanks! One of the other Sweex models shows a few instant commands:

Is anything listed when you run `upscmd -l ups`?

wcfxo fails to find Sweex CA000022 - X100P clone
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out why my Sweex CA000022 is not detected by wcfxo on my SuSE Pro 9.3 running on a VIA EPIA SP motherboard. The card should work as its an Intel 82537EP based card.
When Booting the IRQ assignments for the board indicate:

lspci shows:
