Patch to sshd match
Please find attached a patch against openssh-4.7p1
It extends the Match in sshd_config. The point is that it is sometimes
easier (and more secure) to match on NOT something.
A criterium may be preceded by ! which inverts the condition, thus:
Match !Group sysadmins
ForceCommand /usr/bin/sftp
forces use of sftp on any user who is not a system administrator.

Bug in driver-mysql.c + fix
I tried to use MySQL stored procedures from dovecot:

This failed with the message:
User query failed: PROCEDURE imap.user_info can't return a result set in the given context
The root of this problem is that mysql_real_connect() needs to be called with

Liebert UPS, serial cable questions
Hi,
I have a Liebert GXT2-1000RT230 UPS that is connected to my server
using a serial cable.
I have no idea to what port exactly it is connected so my first
question is: how do I find out what /dev/tty** should I use?
Do I need to install a device driver for it? Where do I find it?
What should I use and how do I do so the server shuts down if the
battery level is low?
Yes, I'm a newby,

Further analysis it looks like the status string matches the q1 subdriver
but a lowercase "f" is sent to request it instead of "Q1\r". What do you
think?

Belkin F6C-1250-TW-RK is supported [patch]
Hi,
just wanted to let you know that I have two belkin F6C-1250-TW-RK
UPSes which work just fine with nut. I made this small patch so that
nut recognizes the usb device id.
Thanks,
~David

F6C1500-TW-RK- Success
For the record, I was able to get the following working:
Device: Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK
Driver: belkin
I tried the "belkinunv", which I use for my F6C1100-UNV, but it didn't
work. At least there was a driver that worked! :-)
Feel free to add it to the list of "tested" configs.
Thanks,
Dave

SPAM-LOW: Re: .Call files do not seem to wo rk
The only other thing that comes to mind is that .call files are very
sensitive to whitespace; you may have unintentially padded the .call file
with whitespace or tabs that it does not like.
The attached .call file works on my 1.0.9 server. Maybe it can give you some
insight.

SPAM-LOW: Re: .Call files do not seem to wo rk
If you are using Windows to generate the .call files, make sure they are in
Unix format (LF only at EOL, not CR+LF) - Notepad makes bad Unix files. Use
Crimson Editor www.crimsoneditor.com to make the file, and click Document >
File Format > Unix Format.
I ran into this same problem, and it turns out my Asterisk install would not
use Windows-formatted text files, it would just ignore them

Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK won't stay powered off
Hello,
I'm using nut to control a Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK ups (vendor ID 050d, product ID

The host computer is running Debian.
I have things configured such that both my computer and the ups shut off when
the battery level reaches a critical level, and everything seems to work fine
up to this point. My problem

F6C1500-TW-RK
is there a way to override the productid (like -x productid=1234)
when using newhidups? just thought i'd try it with the F6C1500-TW-RK
over usb.
i was able to get hidups to work using the below settings, but it
provides limited information.
my ups.conf entry:
[belkin]
driver = hidups
port = /dev/usb/hiddev0
and the output of upsc:
gateway:/etc/nut# upsc

London meetup?
Following Luke''s very successful Puppet talk at GLLUG in London, which
was so over-subscribed there were people queueing outside and pressing
their little faces up against the glass, I wonder if the market will
bear a London Puppet meet?
If there are more than two or three people interested it might be worth
arranging something, perhaps a pub session where we can talk about what
