par(mfrow,mai) and multiple plot problem
Hi
I'm having difficulty with a multiple plot. What I want is 12
plots, all of which are the same size and shape, differing
only in colour. Each one is a square, so there is an asp=1
in the plot call. I'm working in an Sweave environment so I
am free to choose the height and width of the plot.
I want the columns to be labelled at the head (here t=1,2,3)
and the rows to be labelled at

Is this a bug? Having cex!=1 before setting par(mai=) gives strange line spacings.

height <- 5
# create whatever device type
# and have cex=1 before setting par(mai=)
windows(width=width, height=height, rescale="R")
oldmai <- par("mai")

par(mai=oldmai)

Administration
I know this may sound a bit lazy, but I don't really wanna bother with
writing many scripts from the Administration of my SMB-2.2.2 as an NT PDC
Box... (like adding users, deleting users, adding shares and modifying
passwords stuffs, knowing that I do the Unix-SMB password sync)... So does
anyone have good scripts, or some reference pages?? I searched everywhere in
vain for that...

WINS Question?
I have setup my Samba server as a WINS server using the wins support = yes
parameter.
My remote network can see the Samba server at our head office fine.
I have also setup the WINS setting on my PC (W2K Pro box) to point to the IP
address of my Samba server.
When I do a nmblookup -R -U <IP address of WINS server> <name of my PC> on
my Samba server I get this reponse;

I see my samba server but.............
Here I go guys!
I've already changed the configuration of my sbm.conf, also I made my samba
server to be configured as a windows domain, yes! it is found in my windows
domain now but as doing double click on this machine (samba) it asks me for
a user and passsword, it does not let me get into it, I have created the
same samba users as windows, but without any results.
I appreciate your help :

mkntpasswd
Hi!
I am currently follwoing this howto:
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/guide/happy.html#ch6-nss02
and i am stuck with:
(..)You must compile the mkntpasswd tool and then install it into the
/var/lib/samba/sbin directory, as shown here(...)
Where can i get the mkntpasswd sources from? Or is there a rpm package for
it?
Thanks, Mario

ACL INTERNAL ERROR
Hi,
I've got those crash entries in my logs and there is multiple smbd
process eating a lot of cpu/mem.
I'm using samba 3.0.4, rpmsource from samba.org rebuilt with posix acls support. Samba is linked with an openldap-2.0.27.
All of this on redhat ES 3 :/
Any hint to fix this problem?

SWAT
I was playing with this on my test machine, (redhat 5.2, samba 2.0.3)
worked great, and I was really impressed.
So I decided to install this on my office machine. (redhat 4.2, samba
2.0.3) and the only significant difference is that on the
office machine, I use encrypted passwords.
I cannot get swat to authenticate on the second machine. That is, no
matter what account, password combination
