[LLVMdev] Patch to remove Warnings
Hi all, Speaking about warnings, we're seeing the following warnings when building LLVM/Clang on FreeBSD/amd64. When using GCC: http://amd64-clang-bot.qat.freebsd.org:8010/builders/freebsd-clang-amd64/builds/20/steps/compile-llvm.1/logs/warnings When using Clang: http://amd64-clang-bot.qat.freebsd.org:8010/builders/freebsd-clang-amd64/builds/20/steps/compile-llvm.2/logs/warnings -- Ed

Inconsistent rank in qr()
Hi, I have noticed different rank values calculated by qr() depending on LAPACK parameter. When it is FALSE (default) a true rank is estimated and returned. Unfortunately, when LAPACK is set to TRUE, the min(nrow(A), ncol(A)) is returned which is only occasionally a true rank. Would not it be more consistent to replace the rank in the latter case by something based on the following pseudo code ?

Inconsistent rank in qr()
Le 22/01/2018 ? 17:40, Keith O'Hara a ?crit?: > This behavior is noted in the qr documentation, no? > > rank - the rank of x as computed by the decomposition(*): always full rank in the LAPACK case. For a me a "full rank matrix" is a matrix the rank of which is indeed min(nrow(A), ncol(A)) but here the meaning of "always is full rank" is somewhat confusing. Does it

[PATCH] fixup xen-4.0 xend to match changes in tools-python-prefix.diff
debian/patches/tools-python-prefix.diff removes auxbin.pathTo and replaces it with auxbin.path_bin and auxbin.path_boot. However there are still references to auxbin.pathTo in xend. The attached switches those usages to the correct new function. Without these I get: Error: 'module' object has no attribute 'pathTo' when trying to start a guest with

Did llvm.org just run out of disk space?

[openssh-portable] utmpx and ut_name
Hello OpenSSH hackers, The last couple of weeks I've been figuring out how hard it is to replace FreeBSD's <utmp.h> with <utmpx.h>. I don't think utmpx is perfect, but at least it's better than what we have now and at least it has gone through some form of standardisation. I noticed POSIX says the following [1]: | The <utmpx.h> header shall define the utmpx

Enforcing TLS
Hello all, I've happily been using Dovecot for a couple of years now, but only a couple of days ago I configured it to speak both TLS and SSL for both POP3 and IMAP. Ideally I want users to use TLS, but I've enabled SSL, because some mailers (at least Apple Mail on OS X Tiger) don't support TLS. Right now I'm in sort of a transitional phase, where I'm asking users to enable

[Patch] Make OpenSSH work with FreeBSD's utmpx implementation
Hello all, The next version of FreeBSD will use utmpx for its user accounting database, as opposed to utmp which is used right now. Unfortunately wtmpx and lastlog handling isn't standardized at all, which is why we took the liberty to integrate all these databases into a compact API, where setutxdb() can be used to switch to a different database and getutxuser() to search for a USER_PROCESS
