[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Fix recompileAndRelinkFunction
Please add a test to http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project/llvm/trunk/unittests/ExecutionEngine/JIT/JITTest.cpp?view=markup verifying that recompileAndRelinkFunction() keeps working. Then this fix will look fine to me. On Tue, Dec 22, 2009 at 12:23 AM, Gianluca Guida <glguida at gmail.com> wrote: > On Tue, Dec 22, 2009 at 6:14 AM, Chris Lattner <clattner at apple.com> wrote: >>

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Fix recompileAndRelinkFunction
Hello, JIT::recompileAndRelinkFunction's runJITOnFunction does not use the MCI arg, causing null pointer deferences at every call. Attached patch makes runJITOnFunction more reliable. Thanks, Gianluca -- It was a type of people I did not know, I found them very strange and they did not inspire confidence at all. Later I learned that I had been introduced to electronic engineers.

[LLVMdev] Non-local DSE optimization
Hello, Bug is already fixed by Chris (see: http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=4915) . I added getRootNode() == NULL condition to my patch. It's not a great solution, but it is enough for now I think. New patch attached. -Jakub -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Consult some concepts about shadow paging mechanism
Dear All: I am pretty new to xen-devel, please correct me in the following. Assume we have the following terms GPT: guest page table SPT: shadow page table (Question a) When guest OS is running, is it always using SPT for address translation? If it is the case, how does guest OS refer and modify its own GPT content? It seems that there is a page table entry in SPT for the GPT page. (Question

[LLVMdev] Non-local DSE optimization
Hi, It looks like PDT.getRootNode() returns NULL for: define fastcc void @c974001__lengthy_calculation. 1736(%struct.FRAME.c974001* nocapture %CHAIN.185) noreturn { entry: br label %bb bb: br label %bb } Isn't it a bug in PostDominatorTree? Please note that this crashes: opt -postdomtree -debug dom_crash.bc I think this should be reported as a bug, -Jakub On Sep 3, 2009, at

[LLVMdev] Non-local DSE optimization
Hello, This patch adds non-local DSE optimization. It uses Static Single Use representation. [VPID] Invalidate VPID mapping on INVLPG? [PATCH]
Hello, In processors supporting VPID I think we should invalidate the VPID mapping in the TLB after a shadow invlpg (in case EPT is turned off). [PATCH] Minor fix to the fast emulation patch.
Hello, The fast emulation path patch introduced a bug when we have an event injection during a write to a pagetable: after removing shadows we still jump to the done label, releasing the lock even if we aren''t grabbing it. Inline patch fixes this. Signed-off-by: Gianluca Guida <gianluca.guida@eu.citrix.com> diff -r 8848d9e07584 xen/arch/x86/mm/shadow/multi.c ---

Interprocedural DSE for -ftrivial-auto-var-init
Hi JF, I've heard that you are interested DSE improvements and maybe we need to be in sync. So far I experimented with following DSE improvements: * Cross-block DSE, it eliminates additional 7% stores comparing to existing DSE. But it's not visible on benchmarks. * Cross-block + Interprocedural analysis to annotate each function argument with: - can read before write - will

dse package problems
I am having problems with the package dse. I just installed R 2.2.1 and reinstalled all packages. I am running Windows XP Pro with all updates. Below there are two examples of error messages generated when trying to execute some simple programs. The code was taken directly from the package documentation. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas Fernando

[LLVMdev] Non-local DSE optimization

Bug in versioned install (was: (fwd) R-1.7.0 : Problem with Downloading "dse") (PR#2827)
The reason dse won't install is because of the new versioned install code. It assumes that it's dealing with a plain package, and doesn't handle bundles properly. Robert, could you look at that? A workaround is as follows. After the install.packages call fails with this message >Error in file(file, "r") : unable to open connection >In addition: Warning message:
