I am new to LLVM, and I'm trying to compile llvm and llvm-gcc from subversion on a Solaris10/SPARC machine. I have already tried building llvm-2.4 on this machine, but it failed. I then tried the subversion sources (rev. # 65253 fro llvm and rev#65263 for llvm-gcc) and llvm at least builds correctly ( I however have not tried testing it!). I can execute binaries located in

I can't bootstrap llvm-gcc4.2 on Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit. It's not a test failure; instead the configure scripts break in all kinds of mysterious yet spectacular ways. I spent a couple days beating my head against those completely indecipherable shell scripts then gave up for now. Is there a buildbot that runs Ubuntu 11.04? If not may I suggest that one be set up? Hi, I've figured out a little more. #if defined DBX_DEBUGGING_INFO || XCOFF_DEBUGGING_INFO guards the declaration of type_queue, however, neither is defined on Intanium. In gt-dbxout.h type_queue's uses are unguarded and thus are undefined on Itanium. When I compared llvm-gcc's gt-dbxout.h with FSF gcc's, I found that type_queue was never used in FSF gcc's version. hi all Samba build problem when compiling with --with-ads I have complid, kerberos and openldap in /opt/local/samba and I am using gcc with gnu binutils. Its a solaris 10 sparc. Forgot to mention. I don't know how well the canadian cross compile stuff works in 2.5. We made some improvements in that area for 2.6.
