[LLVMdev] Revised patch to make gccld link native .so's
Here is a revised patch after some suggestions: 1. Removed extraneous changes (the white space changes that are -/+ whitespace), and the commented out code. 2. Keep the warning for linking dynamic libraries in LinkLibraries.cpp I still don't have a good solution to the problem of -L paths that include bytecode versions of the native libraries we're trying to link. Ports and WITH_LIBCPLUSPLUS
Hello, I wanted to try the new c++ stuff, ie clang-3.2, libc++ and libcxxrt, so I used poudriere to build a jail setup for that ( WITH_LIBCPLUSPLUS=yes in src.conf, CXXFLAGS+=-stdlib=libc++ and libsupc++.so.1 libcxxrt.so.1 in libmap.conf ), and started to build my normal set of packages ( see desktop.list ). Please note that I also have WITH_NEW_XORG=yes and WITH_KMS=yes, as well as using the

qt3.3 is default in environment, I want it to be qt4
At the current time, the environment is using qt3 values, as in $ env | grep QT QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-3.3 QTINC=/usr/lib/qt-3.3/include QTLIB=/usr/lib/qt-3.3/lib $ env | grep PATH PATH=/usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/lib/ccache:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/home/pauljohn/bin I also have QT4 installed, and I want programs to find those libraries and include files instead of these ones.

Maintainer for Krita on CentOS
The Krita [1] mailing list is now discussing making a standalone .tgz package of the latest Krita for CentOS 5.x. After this tarball is created is there anyone interested in making and maintaining a CentOS 5.x RPM package from it? [LLVMdev] Release: Two Weeks 'Til 3.0 Branch
As of today, there are two weeks left until we branch for the 3.0 release. Please get your changes in as soon as possible so that they are well-tested before the branch. And please keep on top of any failures you see. Now would be a good time to look through the bugzilla database to see if there are any issues you can address. :-) -bw

rspec hangs when used with QtRuby
Hello to everyone I''m having trouble using RSpec to test code which uses QtRuby (both version 3 and 4). I noticed that, after upgrading from RSpec 1.0.5 to RSpec 1.0.8, some of my specs which used QtRuby caused spec (or rake, when used from a Rakefile) to hang indefinitly. After a bit of investigation, I found that the problem arose in the following situation: * requiring Qt4 / Qt3

Moving On
Cross-posted to the blog (at http://lylejohnson.name/blog/2010/08/04/moving-on/): When Jamis Buck wrote last year about ceasing development on Capistrano, his post really struck a chord with me. If this post reminds you of that one, it''s because I re-read it before sitting down to compose this one. It was the next best thing to having Jamis on hand to give me a pep talk before I had to
