Is the size of bricks limiting the size of files I can store?
Sorry about the late reply, I missed seeing your mail. To begin with, what is your use-case? Sharding is currently supported only for virtual machine image storage use-case. It *could* work in other single-writer use-cases but it's only tested thoroughly for the vm use-case. If yours is not a vm store use-case, you might want to do some tests first to see if it works fine. If you find any

CCrb configuration for many projects
Hi! I have about 10 projects in my Cruise. I want to use metric_fu (roodi, rcov, flay) metrics. Right now I have defined :cruise task in Rakefile in each project. Is there any convention to manage cruise configuration from one place? Gem? Plugin for Rails projects? Some good habit also for custom artifacts? -- Pozdrawiam, Sebastian Nowak http://blog.sebastiannowak.net XMPP: seban at chrome.pl

Sharding problem - multiple shard copies with mismatching gfids
Raghavendra, Sorry for the late follow up. I have some more data on the issue. The issue tends to happen when the shards are created. The easiest time to reproduce this is during an initial VM disk format. This is a log from a test VM that was launched, and then partitioned and formatted with LVM / XFS: [2018-04-03 02:05:00.838440] W [MSGID: 109048]

Expand distributed replicated volume with new set of smaller bricks
We currently have a 3 node gluster setup each has a 100TB brick (total 300TB, usable 100TB due to replica factor 3) We would like to expand the existing volume by adding another 3 nodes, but each will only have a 50TB brick. I think this is possible, but will it affect gluster performance and if so, by how much. Assuming we run a rebalance with force option, will this distribute the existing data

Do you have sharding enabled ? If yes, don't do it. If no I'll let someone who knows better answer you :) On Mon, Sep 25, 2017 at 02:27:13PM -0400, Ludwig Gamache wrote: > All, > > We currently have a Gluster installation which is made of 2 servers. Thanks Wine tea
I'm truly impressed by wine, especially Codeweavers'. Not only was it easy to install, but it works! I can now use Britannica, the OED and the archives of Time magazine on Windows CDs. I'm working on getting Pegasus to find my data folders (any tips?) and Agent works fine. It did everything I wanted it to do except run CorelDraw4 (it can't decipher its fonts) and any astrology

Graphical rsync!

A few caveats: * It reportedly only works on WinNT/Win2K. Win9x is being looked into at this time. * It is written in Perl/Tk, although all portability conceits were abandoned fairly early on, and it

PR #927 -- R crash on huge CSV file (PR#928)
I tried to run the same dataset with R-1.2.3 on Linux, compiled from the source tarball. After 7 hours, it was still grinding away and had not crashed. I had to kill it. "gtop" was showing it with a real size around 160 MB, same as the peak on the Windows 2000 environment. This is on the same hardware as the Windows run; my machine is dual-booted Windows 2000 and Red Hat Linux 7.1. If I

R works in KDE but not in Gnome
I have a Red Hat 7.0 system, plus glibc-2.2 and gcc-2.96.69. When I run the R demo 'demo("graphics") with KDE it runs fine, but when I try it with Gnome it croaks: demo(graphics) ---- ~~~~~~~~ Type <Return> to start : > opar <- par(ask = interactive() && (.Device %in% c("X11", "GTK", "windows", "Macintosh")))
