Problems with "predict" function
Hello, I am synthesising some sales data over a twelve month period, and then trying to use the "predict" function, firstly to generate a thirteenth month forecast with upper and lower 95% confidence limits. So far so good But what I then want to do is add the upper sales value at the 95th confidence limit to the vector of thirteen months and their respective sales to create a

Suddenly "HDLC Bad FCS (8)" errors on ISDN-PRI, changed nothing
Hi fellow asterisk users, I am running Asterisk 1.4.29 with an Digium TE121 card (wcte12xp kernel module) an approx. 100 snom320. The whole installation is running without issues since 5 months. Without having changed anything on the asterisk server for at least 2 months, i noticed "clicking sounds" at external calls over the PRI. Asterisk constantly throws the following messages: ...

[LLVMdev] Why clang inlines with -O3 flag and opt doesn't?
When I compile my C fibonacci example fib.c with 'clang -O3 -c -emit-llvm -o fib-clang.bc fib.c&& llvm-dis fib-clang.bc' I get fib-clang.ll that has some degree of inlining in it. But when I get an equivalent to fib.c file fib.ll and run it through opt with the command 'llvm-as fib.ll&& opt -O3 fib.bc -o fib-opt.bc&& llvm-dis fib-opt.bc' resulting

New Lemmy federated community for everything Samba (Unofficial)
Hello all, I have taken the liberty of creating a new Samba software community over on Lemmy. I realize that mailing lists are the traditional way projects communicate but I wanted a place more public and easier to use. For those who do not know, Lemmy is a federated forms platform. Here are the links to the community: Lemmy form: !sambasoftware at lemmy.sdf.org lemmy,sdf.org:

debugging T.38 issues
Hello list, We're currently facing some issues concerning T.38 gateway faxing. This is a device used almost exclusively for receiving faxes. Calls are incoming to asterisk on a SIP trunk (sangoma netborder) using G711A. Gateway mode is activated in the asterisk dialplan towards a Cisco SPA 112 running firmware 1.3.5. We are using asterisk 1.8.13.0 with the T.38 gateway patch applied (I know I

HDLC bad FCS
I have 2 servers, configured identically. Each has a TE405P and 2 PRIs. One server was experiencing crackly audio on one circuit, accompanied by HDLC bad FCS messages. The telco recabled and moved me to another port on the DMS-100. The audio is better, but there are still bad FCS problems on the span. I have moved the PRI in question to the other server, and the problem does indeed move with the

There exist a FCS package on R-languaje?
Hi all, excuse me by this elementary question. I wish to know if a package in language R exists to analyze FCS (Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy) datas. And, if it possible, in addition can read the archives in raw format generated by the ConfoCor2 program. Thanks Horacio. **************************************************************************** Dr. Horacio Castellini

nchar on factors
In R 2.9.1 Windows: > nchar(factor(paste('sdf',1:10))) [1] 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 so it appears that nchar is counting the number of characters in the numeric representation, just like: > nchar(as.numeric(factor(paste('sdf',1:10)))) [1] 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 but ?nchar says explicitly: x: character vector, or a vector to be coerced to a character vector.
