with for objects
Is there a form of with (or an equivalent function) that can be applied
to objects?
I'd like to be able to write something like (drawing from bioconductor +
trellis as an example)
xyplot(maA ~ maM | maPrintTip, object = swirl[,1]) which would be
interpreted as xyplot(swirl[,1]@maA ~ swirl[,1]@maM |
swirl[,1]@maPrintTip) (or even better, match functions not slots eg. as

a question about read.marrayRaw
Hi, everyone,
I ran the test case in "Introduction to the Bioconductor
marrayInput package first. When I ran the session in (read.marrayRaw) I got the following error messages. Other sessions work well.
The functions and errors are labled with blue and red respectively.

How to install C&C: Tiberium Dawn in Ubuntu Karmic
Hi,
I am currently using a hp mini, and my wine version is 1.0.0. I am trying to install Command and Conquer: Tiberium Dawn from the official website, and run it on ubuntu karmic using wine. When I tried it last night, I ran into the installation error: "Unable to locate necessary files. Please run setup.exe from the CD-ROM disc". Apparently others have run into this error, as it is

RHEL 4 + 5 wallpaper?
Hi,
I know I know: upstream minus artwork. Nevertheless, I admit I'd like to
simply use the RHEL background wallpaper for my desktop. Something like:
http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/linux/images/rhel4/44-Desktop.jpg
Can't seem to find these (4 and 5). Any idea?
Cheers,

E1 in South Africa
Hi Everyone
After speaking with my local telco service provider, Telkom, I am aware
that either we don't have E1 services in South Africa or the technical
skills of our the engineers leaves much to be desired.
Has/does anyone know if the Digium E1 (E100P) card is certified/works in
South Africa?
Thanks for the help so far!

Performing post-installation setup tasks - for 75 minutes
I'm doing a new install, and everything seems to have gone fine apart from the
incredible amount of time it's taken.
It does have 6 x 4TB drives in RAID6 and I am installing from a USB DVD drive
as I had no SATA ports left, but this is getting rediculous.
I chose a simple install (the one above file and print server) and added
Postgresql but that was about it.
It took over 5 hours

South-Africa
Good day all
I'm in South-Africa,currently we are using openline4 cards for our pbx
systems. Now we first need approval on the cards form icasa(a government
standards) before we can use the card. The market here is very big for a
system like asterisk. The only problem is to get a card approved(for a
small company like us) its just about impossible.
Now what I'm looking for is a company that

Newbie questions from South Africa: Initial setup
Hi All,
I have been researching Asterisk for a few days now and have read
hundreds of web pages and other documents. While some things are getting
clearer, others are not.
I have managed to install Asterisk 1.0.1 on Debian testing (simple as
'apt-get install asterisk'). I understand FXS/FXO, codecs available,
feature and functionality available etc. I have found several "Getting
