It could be some setting in notepad++ that is interfering with itself. If your file is unchanged and the modified time is unchange in both ls -l and the Windows file browser and notepad++ saw a change then the problem is with notepad++ not in samba or linux. Hi :) I installed TWAIN drivers for my scanner under wine ... everything done with success, next I installed IrfanView ... everything done ... but when I want to choose TWAIN driver in IF it says that it can't find driver. DOS ".EXE" programs aren't "automagically" being opened by WINE, but with the "Archive Manager. I found this by Right Clicking on the Wine EXE file. This opens the "Archive Manager" as the default application, not "Wine Windows Program Loader" as it used to. I have confirmed this with the native 8.10 version and the latest WINE from Wine HQ.

I am a big fan of NotePad++ (http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm), which allows users to develop an XML schema that allows NotePad++ to be more Language aware. Don't know what's wrong, but the only managed window I get is for Forte Agent. I can't get Notepad, Regedit and IrfanView to run managed. wine 10510 on debian testing/woody Using wine without windows. I ran the winesetup utility and set win98 and managed. Setting wine --managed before executing the program also didn't help. Anyone ? Jeremy

How do you install libreoffice. yum install libreoffice did not do it, doing a search on "centos 8 install libreoffice" did not provide anything. Thanks Jerry
